The Mallorca/Majorca region
Cala Vinyas is in the South West of Mallorca about 20 minutes from Palm Airport. Mallorca has lots to offer with beautiful beaches & coves, peace & quiet or great nightlife in the major resorts. There are several marinas with some fine restaurants to enjoy good food and admire the fabulous yachts. Palma City is great for shopping and the Cathedral & old town are well worth a visit.
Cala Vinyas area
Cala Vinyas has a selection of restaurants/bars small supermarkets and two hotels where you can enjoy evening entertainmemt. There are several water parks and go karting nearby and Marineland with its Dolphin show and children's pool with slide is a great day out. The pirates show with dinner is a super night out for all the family. The larger resorts of Palma Nova & Santa Ponsa are about ten minutes drive away as is Portals with its superb restaurants and beautiful marina.
How to get there
Easy Jet , Thomsonfly, Monarch, Air Berlin, BMI all fly into Palma Airport. Transfer time from airport is 20 minutes. There is a regular bus service from Cala Vinyas town & local taxis. Car hire is recommended if you want to see lots more of the island. There are several car hire companies in Cala Vinyas town.
