"Beautiful holiday in Cala Clara"

Stayed for a week with 4 persons in the appartment CalaClara. The weather was exelent and also the appartment: plenty of room well equiped and clean, tv, wi-fi etc etc. A privat swimming pool and parking. We would like to go next year again!!

"Modernes Appartment mit fantastischem Meerblick und überkompletter Ausstattung"

Absolut zu empfehlen sind die Penthouse- Appertments mit individueller Dachterrasse und eigenem Jacuzzi-Pool. Die Anlage ist sehr modern und umfasst nur sechs Ferien-Appertments. wir hatten das Appt. 2B gebucht. Das großzügige Appartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Badezimmer, sowie zusätzlichem Duschbad ist sehr modern eingerichtet. W-Lan vorhanden . Flachbild- TV und geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Der Balkon mit Glasbrüstung bietet schon beim Frühstück den absoluten Meerblick. die Küche hat sogar eine Spülmaschine und eine Waschmaschine ist auch vorhanden, die wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben. Highlight ist die Dachterrasse auf zwei Ebenen mit Grill und einem eigenen Jacuzzi-Pool. Selbst vom Jacuzzi aus hat man einen tollen Meerblick und ist trotzdem relativ vor Einsicht geschützt. Für unseren Mietwagen stand ein abgeschlossener Parkplatz hinter dem Haus zur Verfügung und zu der Anlage gehört auch ein schöner Pool. Die Wohnungen im EG und 1. Etage sind vor Einblicken durch Gäste der beiden Restaurants neben der Anlage weniger gut geschützt. Deshalb würden wir auf alle Fälle wieder das Penthouse-Appartement buchen. Buchung und Abwicklung war einfach. Der Service vom Vermieter war perfekt. Einziges Manko - keine Deutschen Fernsehprogramme

"lovely modern spacious apartment in a relaxing resort"

We stayed at Cala Clara 3 or 4 years ago and were looking forward to returning and we were not disappointed. The apartments are really modern, light and spacious with high quality fittings throughout and they are well maintained. The swimming pool and surrounding terrace although not huge is really nice and is a great sun trap.The resort is very low key which makes for a relaxing holiday. We would not hesitate to recommend the apartments and definately hope to to return in the near future.

"A great place to stay"

The Cala Clara apts in Cala San Vicente are ideal for those looking for a family holiday in a quiet beach and poolside location with plenty of amenities on your doorstep. The apartments are sleek, modern and well equipped, with huge sea-view balconies making al fresco eating a must, all the better to enjoy the spectacular rugged coastline around Cala San VIcente. The nearest beach is a minute stroll across the road and offers great snorkelling and clean waters. For those looking to top up their tan away from the crowds, the good sized private pool is a real sun-trap. There are plenty of restaurants and shops/minimarts on your doorstep and for those looking for a bigger retail experience, Pollensa is only a 5 minute drive away.

"Perfect"

Perfectly situated, totally modern apartment (much nicer than my own house!) and really good value. Perfect. Nothing more to say - now just padding out to the daft 100 character minimum requirement..ho hum...lovely day today....might rain next week though.....oh forgot, wifi was great (better than my own house, again - and no, my house is not a dump..)

"Great apartment, BUT....!!!"

Cala San Vincente has a beautiful cove beach where the sand is golden and the water is turquoise. If you're looking for a quiet each getaway with a toddler in May, it's perfect.

The apartment was really lovely. Very modern, very clean and had MOST things that we needed for a family stay (no hairdryer or sieve, baking trays...) but these were very minor issues. The apartment itself was really big and the bathrooms are lovely (I'm very fussy about bathrooms). A large TV (great for morning cartoons) and very comfortable but stylish sofa to lounge on in the evenings.

The garden was a perfect size for our little one and the outside dining area was perfect for breakfasts in the sun.

BUT...

The apartment is on ground floor level and directly across the road from the spot where holiday makers are picked up by coach. I'm not exaggerating when I say that at least 15 coaches a day pass the apartment. Not a problem when you're out and about. But not great when you're eating breakfast or dinner and you have a coach load of people staring right at you. Not forgetting that we were there in May, so I suspect it'll be even busier in the height of summer.

Also (and this was the killer) every time anyone in the apartment blocked flushed the loo or turned on the tap, the water pump (outside the master bedroom window) makes a terrible noise. This meant that my husband and I did not have ONE NIGHT of UNBROKEN SLEEP the whole week we were there. And quite frankly, this ruined our holiday because we were knackered.

We did report this to the letting agent and they attempted to fix it, but to no avail.

We also got locked in the car park for 40 minutes with our baby in the car because the electric gates failed to work. However, the agents were really helpful and sent someone out as soon as they could to fix it.

Overall INSIDE the apartment is great, but the external factors of coaches, water pumps and broken car park gates effectively ruined the relaxing break we'd hoped for. Not the letting agent's fault AT ALL, but had we known all of this, we would never have booked.

"modern flat in architect designed building"

For some reason, details for this flat are still incorrect.When we stayed(during the Icelandic ash cloud) we realised there were inconsistencies in description and photos on this site.This has been improved but some of the photos are of the roof terrace of the top apartments and the slide show is a bit of a mix too. We were really pleased with the flat though. Very modern and tasteful - a quality build in a classy building. In my recollection, there was no ensuite bathroom but a bath and separate shower room across the corridor. Pictures of the timber -surrounded pool belong to the top apartments ( a jacuzzi I think). They have a roof terrace, outdoor 'kitchen' and barbecue ..There was a large glass-fronted balcony, facing the sea. What they don't say is that there is a large hotel on the other side of the road, below you and between you and the sea.Don'timagine you are on the sea-front with uninterupted views. We were at the very beginning of the season and hotel was still getting ready for summer . I am not sure how busy this would be in high season. The building was next door to a nice cafe. This made you rather public property on the balcony, when the outdoor seating of the cafe was busy, and in the small pool at the back. Shrubbery had been planted and 2 years on will probably have softened the area, but when we went, the pool was in full view of the secure private parking area and to some extent the kitchens etc of the cafe.In April the balcony got only a little evening sun and probably in summer is mostly shady. This could well be a blessing if it is hot and it is perfect for people -watching.
The resort itself is small. The two small coves had not been cleared of winter debris when we went . They are sandy but probably very crowded in high season with hotel guests (they are either side of hotel). There is another beach further round. Can't comment on restaurants as most were not open.There was a small shop for necessities but we shopped in Pollensa and found a car essential for sight-seeing. Our roof-terrace neighbours had no transport and managed adequately with buses to Pollensa. I would happily go back to this apartment and can only praise the agents who were extremely helpful and pleasant (based in Pollensa).
wi-fi wasn't available when we went but may well have been added.
