Perched above the sandy cove of Cala Molins in the resort of Cala San Vicente, Fuentes d'Alt is a contemporary villa with a wonderful location complemented by excellent accommodation and a good range of facilities. The villa has been designed to take maximum benefit of the views out to sea and across the resort to the spectacular mountains of the Tramuntana range. Each of the bedrooms has independent access to a terrace from which to soak up the views.
Set in a wonderful hillside location, surrounded by Mediterranean pines and overlooking Cala Molins, Fuentes d'Alt offers a stylish interior, two full terraces, one with a swimming pool, and beautiful views out to sea. On two floors and with air-conditioning, Fuentes d'Alt has four bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and has proved very popular with families, couples and groups of friends.
The centre of Cala San Vicente with its diverse range of restaurants and bars, also a small selection of shops, is just a short walk down from the villa. Cala has 4 coves, each of golden sand and with wonderful views of the amazing rock formation know as the Caball Bernat.

Fuentes d'Alt has a sharp modern look with bright furnishings and designer fittings; the style and atmosphere of the villa is relaxing, the décor and furnishings are distinctive and it is well equipped.
The entrance is into a hall on the ground floor which leads to a cool and comfortable air-conditioned living room with separate areas for sitting and dining. Doors open onto the teak terrace which runs the full length of the villa and has views over the bay and the beach. The terrace encompases the swimming pool and areas for relaxing. There is a Satellite TV (with limited English channels), DVD and CD player. The kitchen leads of the living room and has an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave.
On the ground floor there are two air-conditioned bedrooms, a master double with an en-suite full bathroom with separate shower, and doors to the terrace. The other is a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and doors onto the terrace.
Stairs lead up to the first floor with a furnished landing with a sitting area and television and two air-conditioned bedrooms, a double with full en-suite bathroom and a separate shower, and doors leading to an upstairs terrace. The second bedroom is a double which has an en-suite shower room and doors onto a private terrace.
Each of the 4 bedrooms has a ceiling fan to compliment the air-conditioning.

The swimming pool is on the lower terrace and measures 7 x 4 metres with a shallow end of 1.3 metres and deep end of 1.7 metres, it has built in steps and is surrounded by teak decking and furnished with sitting, dining and sun bathing areas. The pool may be fenced on request. There is also a barbecue.
It is only a short minute walk down to the turquoise waters and the sandy beach of Cala Molins, which has a couple of restaurants and bars, whilst a further walk brings you to Cala Marques which has some great rock diving and a renowned fish restaurant.

BOOKING PROCEDURE : A deposit of 30% of the total rental is payable at the time of booking and the balance of 70% is required two months before the start of the rental.
We can accept payment in either Sterling or Euros, by cheque, debit or credit card, although in the case of the latter we reserve the right to pass on the associated handling charge. Prior to making payment you are advised to telephone us.
CANCELLATION CHARGES : Should you unfortunately have to cancel your rental the following charges are payable:
If the cancellation is made -
* More than 63 days before start of the rental - loss of deposit
* Between 63 days and 42 days - 50% of the rental cost
* Between 42 and 28 days - 80% of the rental cost
* Within 28 days of the start of the rental - 100% of the cost of the rental
In the light of these cancellation charges it is strongly advised that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover. Cancellations must be advised in writing.
RENTAL AGREEMENT - in arranging rentals for Fuentes d'Alt, Linda Bethell (trading as Just Villas & Apartments Ltd) is acting as agent for the local management company who act as principal for the rental agreement. Copies of their booking conditions are available on request.
SECURITY DEPOSIT – is payable locally to the managing agent of the property on arrival by credit card imprint. This will be destroyed at the end of your stay, however you will be advised should there be any deductions for breakages or additional charges.
TENANCY TIMES - the property is available for occupation after 1500 on your arrival day and should be vacated by 1000 on your day of departure. Please bear this in mind when you are booking your flights.
The Balearic Islands region
Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and the most varied. For many years Mallorca was synonymous with mass tourism but in recent years it has become a quality destination offering a wide range of holidays, notably for villas and apartments.
Whilst some areas of the coast in the south and east have been overdeveloped with exuberant resorts, the capital, Palma still retains much of its historical flavour sporting grand mansions and a magnificent Gothic cathedral in its bustling centre. In the north of the island, nestling below the peaks of the majestic Serra de Tramuntana mountain range are the charming historic towns of Pollensa and Old Alcudia, and the family friendly resorts of Cala San Vicente with its stunning location and Puerto Pollensa, fronting its wonderful bay, sparkling waters and long sandy beach.
Mallorca is an island of immense variety with all the ingredients for an unforgettable stay - dramatic mountain scenery, golden beaches, hidden coves, timeless villages and ancient monasteries, an excellent range of sports both on land and on water, plus a distinctive and varied cuisine.
Cala San Vicente
CALA SAN VICENTE - just 6 km northeast of Pollensa boasts an attractive setting along a wooded ravine set amongst rocky outcrops that plunge into the sparkling sea.
Grouped around four sandy coves - the Calas Molins, Carbo, Clara and Barques - two of which have blue flag status, the resort is renowned for a number of good restaurants and bars with a small range of shops making it perfect for family holidays.
SPORTS enthusiasts are well catered for - the wonderful sandy beaches offer a good selection of water sports, ranging from wind surfing to snorkelling whilst on land there are two golf courses, tennis; and opportunities for cycling, walking and horse riding.
There are a number of interesting places to visit nearby
Historic POLLENSA, lies in the lee of the Tramuntana Mountains and is a peaceful old town that has been largely unaffected by tourism. Pollensa is now one of Mallorca's most celebrated cultural towns with much of the historic medieval centre remaining intact, particularly around the attractive Plaça Major.
PUERTO POLLENSA is an attractive family resort which stretches along a sheltered horseshoe-shaped bay lined with sandy beaches, set against the backdrop of the Boquer Mountains. The celebrated Pine Walk overlooks the beach and the bay, dotted with the colourful sails of yachts. Some of the best fish restaurants in Mallorca are found along the promenade, along with cuisines to suit every taste.
The nearby FORMENTOR PENINSULA, the bony northern spur of the Tramuntana Mountains is an area of great natural beauty with wooded valleys, plunging cliffs, magnificent seascapes and a wonderful beach, the Playa de Formentor.
OLD ALCUDIA, not to be confused with the modern resort 3 kms to the south, has a fascinating history. Settled by the Phoenicians and Greeks; the Romans made it their capital; destroyed by the Vandals; rebuilt by the Moors, and liberated in the early 1200's by the Spanish who fortified the city with massive walls. Today within the old city you will find a number of enticing restaurants, bars, shops and art galleries.
Further afield there are many other places of interest - LLUC, renowned for its monastery, beautiful DEIA home to many artists, the ancient hilltop town of ARTA; and PALMA itself.
