The Menorca region
Menorca has a relaxed and peaceful way of life. You can enjoy beautiful beaches from tiny unspoilt coves to long stretches of golden sands. The picturesque resorts and tiny fishing villages remain unfazed by its popularity. There are a whole host of enchanting eating places to explore and Menorca is rich in History with its many churches, museums, monuments and archaeological sites to visit. Mahon which is the capital is just a 15 minute drive from Cala'n Porter or we have a bus services up to 6 times a day in peak season. Mahon boasts an impressive harbour with an array of cafe's and restaurants. It also hosts special fiestas which take place all over the island which offer colourfull processions, music, dancing and street parties with spectacular fire work displays. Although the island boasts many attractions beauty and tranquility are it's characteristic attributes.
Cala'n Porter area
Cala'n Porter is not noisy by any means, an evenings entertainment is centred on local restaurants and friendly bars. If you want a little more then its there you can also find professional acts, live music and dancing also family quiz nights and boozy bingo if required. We have a great children's play centre called the "the fun house" where they have puppet and clown shows for the children, bar facilities where mum and dad can relax while the children paly. Cala'n Porter is also home to a lovely safe and sandy beach as well as the famous Caves of Xoroi there you can relax and enjoy the most spectacular views and see the most beautiful sun sets. Just by the Caves of Xoroi you will find the cliffe walks, which take you to Calas Coves. All this is just a short stroll from the complex, there is something for everyone in Cala'n Porter.
How to get there
Mahon is the airport for Menorca and Cala'n Porter is your resort. You can search the internet for flights or if you want some help regarding the best deals or which websites to search contact the owner anytime.
Cala'n Porter is just 15 minutes transfer from Mahon airport, taxis should cost no more than 22 euros each way. Car hire is not required as our accommodation is just a few minutes walk from the resort attractions and beach. Should you wish to hire a car for a few days during your stay, then this can be done in resort.

Further details indoors: Perfectly located Villa Rioja is of single story design with traditional white washed walls and tiled floors throughout and are complemented by criss crossed beamed high ceilings. Giving the Villa a very modern feel about it. Offering large open plan Lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a large corner chocolate brown leather Sofa, dining area with seating for 6, and a open plan well equipped kitchen fully fitted. There are 3 spacious twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes & bedside draws providing ample storage for your belongings. The master bedroom is en-suite and the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom/shower room. We offer excellent facilities
Further details outdoors: Villa Rioja offers a large tiled patio area with pergola terraced and sea views, the sunny terraced is furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining and there is plenty of space for sun beds and for children to play around the pool area. There is a large swimming pool with roman steps into the water at the shallow end making it safe for children to enjoy. This beautiful Villa also boast a roof top terraced with spectacular sea views.

Change over days for 2009 are Fridays but may be flexible during early and late season
