The Menorca region

Cala'n Porter area
Cala 'n Porter is on the south coast of Menorca and offers beautiful turquoise blue waters that glisten in the sun. There is a narrow cove of water that is backed on by a wide sandy beach. On the one side there are untouched cliffs of limestone and on the other is the more civilised with houses perched on the cliff-face.
The area has an abundance of bars and restaurants with some actually on the beach. Make sure you visit the 'Covas den Xoroi' named after the historical pirate figure who abducted a local girl and kept her in his cave. The bar is unique as it is set high up on the cliffs.
