This large detached villa is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of the popular resort of Cala ‘ Porter. The villa is within walking distance of the resort centre where a good selection of restaurants and shops can be found. The safe sandy beach which, which is one of the resort’s major attractions, is just 500m away and can be reached on foot, by car or using the novel little train that runs around the resort at regular intervals during the day.

The Menorca region

Cala'n Porter area

If you are looking for a great value villa holiday to Cala 'n Porter, Menorca then please read on. The well-known and popular resort of Cala 'n Porter is on the south coast and offers turquoise blue waters that glisten in a narrow cove backed by a wide sandy beach. On one side, the untouched limestone cliffs are the home to seabirds. On the other side of the cove there are a number of homes perched precariously on the cliff-face.

A unique bar and nightclub, Covas den Xoroi, named after Xoroi, a legendary Berber pirate who abducted a local girl and kept her in his cave, is set in a cave high up in the cliffs.

The resort has a wealth of bars and restaurants including some on the beach. A weekly market is held in the square to compliment the choice from the varied shops within the resort.

A little road train runs around the resort through the day, and down to the beach. Besides the Covas den Xoroi nightclub, family entertainment can be found most evenings in local hotel, which are open to all.

If you are feeling energetic, take a walk over the hill to the lovely picturesque cove or "Cala Coves."

A villa holiday to Cala 'n Porter is ideal for families with children or couples who would prefer not to drive. Buses run regularly into the Capital Mahon and there are plenty of taxis available for the short journey there, or to and from the airport.

The accommodation, which is all on one level comprises of an entrance hallway leading to a luxurious master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and fitted wardrobes. A second double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all with fitted wardrobes, share a full family bathroom. The separate fully fitted kitchen, also accessed from the hallway, benefits from all modern appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric oven and ceramic hob. The dining room with a beautiful purpose built china cabinet and solid polished table and chairs leads to the spacious separate lounge which benefits from an enclosed feature fireplace, display cabinets and very comfortable three-piece suit. Entertainment is provided by way of a Satellite TV (English/Spanish channels) DVD Player and a Stereo system. This villa is furnished to a very high standard and is equipped throughout for modern living making it ideal for our discerning clientele.

Further details outdoors:
Double doors from the lounge give access to a large covered terrace which extends from the front and to the side giving plenty of room to relax. The high position is ideal for watching the sunset whilst enjoying ‘Alfresco’ dining. Steps from the front lead down to the garage, driveway and front gardens which are currently being landscaped around a new 9m x 5m private pool, which will benefit from a built-in Jacuzzi and will have roman steps for easier access. In addition, there is to be a brick built Barbecue and a poolside shower, Sun beds, parasols and patio furniture will be supplied. There are areas to the front and rear of the property suitable for ball games. Ample off road parking is available behind double gates.
