The apartment is ideally situated in the centre of town to accommodate all the varying requirements for a successful family holiday. The beach, which benefits from a lifeguard service, is a 10 minute walk away where you can enjoy safe swimming - pedaloes and sun loungers/umbrellas can be hired. Cala'n Porter is served by a regular bus service into Mahon which links with services to other areas of the island or you can hire a car from a number of places in the town. There is tennis available in the centre of town or you can travel further afield for horseriding, golf, watersports, gokarting. There is plenty of evening entertainment to be had in and around Cala'n Porter but because of the loaction of the late night venues you are able to rest without being disturbed by late night revellers, if that is your choice. There is something for everyone of all ages.

The Menorca region
Cala’n Porter issituated on the south coast on top of cliffs above the large horseshoe shaped cove with a gently sloping sandy beach providing safe swimming with lots of space for smaller children to paddle.
It is accessible by car or bus service and the resort offers a wide variety of restaurants offering everything from local cuisine o chinese takeaway or full English breakfasts. There are many bars, offering evening entertainment, speciality shops, well-stocked supermarkets and a chemist so all you need for your holiday is easily available.
Thre are many car hire outlets so you can choose to have a car for your full stay from your arrival at the airport or you may choose to simply hire a care for a day r to to explore the rest of the island.
Also available are many organised tours from the centre of Cala'n Porter so you can sit back and relax while someone else does the navigating or you may choose to just spend your days relaxing with a good book by the pool.
In the evening there are many choices for your entertainment. The Caves nightclub offers late night revellers a funfilled night without distrubing the those who want to have a earlier night or you could choose to have a quiet night in one of the many bars or just sit on your balcony enjoying a bottle of wine while listening to your favourite CD.
Cala'n Porter area
The Beach is accessed by 181 steps down the cliffside or you could walk down the sloping pavement. For the less energetic there is a land train that runs every 45 minutes from the beach through the town centre and around the outskirsts of the resort. The sandy beach has a lifeguard on duty each day from 11am and is ideal for children to paddle and build sand castles but also is ideal for those who want to swim, snorkel or just float around on the many inflatables available from the local shops. Once on the beach you can hire sun loungers and umbrealls as well as pedaloes and there are restaurants and bars along the walkway to cater for refreshments. Everything you need for a day out at the beach.

Further details indoors: The apartment is on the first floor of the central block in a small gated complex of 36 apartments. The two bedrooms have twin beds, fitted wardrobes (one with a fitted key safe) and celing fans. The lounge and dining area table and chairs for 4 people, a tv with dvd/cdplayer and the sofa converts to a comfortable single bed for a 5th person. In the kitchen guests will find a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and toaster together with all the usual china, cutlery, glassware and utensils. There is also an iron and ironing board in the apartment. The balcony also has table and chairs for dining al fresco or just relaxing. Towels aand linen are changed each week for multi week bookings but please bring your own towels for use at the pool and beach.
Further details outdoors: The landscaped gardens of the complex offer shady retreats and a children's play area with swings, see saw and climbing frame. The large communal pool has a shallow end and a separate secure paddling pool for the smaller children. The pool is surrounded by sun loungers for the use of guests and shade provided by thatched umbrellas.
