Home description
This newly completed Penthouse apartment on a secure prestige complex is close to all amenities in the resort and just 5 minutes stroll to the beach. It offers comfortable living for 4 people with spectacular views from 2 terraces and easy access to bars, restaurants and shops. Ideal for a family beach holiday or a sophisticated leisure break.
The apartment is generously equipped for comfortable family living with air-conditioning in living and bed-rooms. It has a large living room with leather sofa and easy chairs and a dining table and chairs for indoor meals.
The two bedrooms have twin 3ft beds and fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps; one opens onto the main terrace. The bathroom has over-bath shower, separate shower cubicle, vanity unit and WC; the shower room has shower cubicle, basin and WC.
Guests have use of the private pool on the complex and may use underground garage and store.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
This largest of Spain's Balearic islands offers scenery and activites to suit everyone. The international airport of Palma is served by Uk's major airports throughout the year and many smaller airports through the summer. Cala Millor is about an hour by road from the airport - taxis and transfers run into the resort but it is easy find following well-signed main roads. The east coast offers superb family resorts with beautiful beaches - you can hire a lounger or not, as you wish. If you wish to explore, the northern coast offers plenty of wildlife areas and mountains with glorious views. Old towns such as Arta offer historic sites of interest. An easy drive across the farmland of the centre of the island takes you to the central town of Inca with leather and olviewood shops, pearl factory and its historic centre. Further west you can climb into the Tramuntana mountains and visit the monastery at Lluc and Soller on the coast. Cyclists and walkers enjoy the mix of terrain with plenty of space away from main roads. All types of water sports are catered for and golf and horse riding can be arranged nearby.
Cala Millor area
Cala Millor is in the middle of the long sweep of a bay on the east coast of Mallorca. The sandy beach is ideal for families – you can hire loungers or not as you wish – and the broad promenade which joins the resorts neighbouring resorts of Sa Coma and Cala Bona is ideal for a stroll or bicycle ride.
There is plently to do in the evenings from lively bars to elegant dining; including typical Mallorqui cuisine, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indian and of course English for the home-sick.
In the main season a "train" runs a regular service between the adjacent resorts, you can visit the Safari on the special bus or take a ride in a Mallorcan pony carriage.
How to get there
Approximately 1 hour's drive from Palma Airport - about 70 km. Taxis and shared transfers can be booked online so a car not essentiial. Our cleaning service may be able to help. Taxis and bus services to local resorts and market towns.

For winter lets gas-fired central heating radiators are in all rooms. The lounge has a fireplace which can be used (with care) to burn logs for cosy winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with electrical appiances, a range of crockery, glassware, cutlery, cooking utensils, kitchen and table linen should you wish to eat in. It opens onto the dining terrace for ease of serving meals "al fresco".
A travel cot and high chair can be available on request.
Further details outdoors: Two large terraces - one 19m2 approx is accessed from the lounge, has sun all day with a partially covered area and views over the resort; this is furnished with lounging chairs and small tables. The other terrace of 16m2 approx is accessed from the kitchen and dining area and is furnished with chairs, table and parasol for leisurely summer meals with great views of the mountains. The complex has its own pool with shallow area and private loungers available. The apartment building is accessed from the street by key code entry gates or via the underground garage (electronically controlled) and there is a lift to the fifth floor. There is identified parking for 2 cars and a secure store which guests may use for beach equipment etc if wished. There are no stairs to climb to access the apartment; all the paths around the complex are paved and Cala Millor is situated on relatively level land with paved and pedestrianised areas which makes this an ideal location if mobility is restricted.

We aim to keep the apartment supplied with basic consumables such as bottled water, olive oil, wine vinegar, seasonings, tea, instant coffee, sugar etc and supplies of detergents and hygiene essentials.
Whilst you can hire a car from Palma airport or locally, it is not essential to have a car to enjoy the resort or the island. Shared or private transfers can be arranged from airport to the complex. The beach and all the resort amenities are within a short, easy walking distance and there is a bus service to other resorts and the main towns. There is a taxi rank with prices displayed just along the road. In summer months you can take the “train” to neighbouring resorts or catch the “Safari Bus”.

Just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful apartment. The accommodation was first class with everything we could wish for dishwasher,wi-fi access and even a hairdryer. The directions you gave us and additional info was very welcome and really useful. We found the location to be excellent - so near to the beach front, supermarkets and bus stop and taxi rank.(even the little tram). The garage was really useful and I would encourage anyone to consider car hire as there are lots of lovely resorts locally that we managed to see. Dianne & Emma Our stay was in no doubt made all the more special by the accommodation. Having two terraces to choose from meant we could always be outside . . . we did not have to drive to take in the resorts but were far enough away from the centre of busy pubs and shops. . . really a home from home PH
