The apartment is close to restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques and there is also a supermarket, pharmacy, cycle hire shop and general store nearby.

Cala Figuera is the most beautiful small fishing port in Mallorca and is close to several stunning beaches such as Cala Mandrago and Cala Santanyi. It is only a 10 minute drive to the main regional town of Santanyi with market, shops, banks and supermarket facilities.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands with 554 km of coastline. Mallorca's landscape is very varied, due to it's geological formation and the weather is typically Mediterranean with hot, dry summers in the high 20°s (low 80°Fs) and mild winters, with the temperatures roughly half that of summer. The sea regulates extreme temperatures and pleasant sea breezes also keep hot days from becoming too unpleasant.


Cala Figuera area

Cala Figuera is within a 15 minute drive south of Cala D'Or.

This particular coastline of Mallorca has an abundance of small sandy beaches and there is safe swimming/snorkelling and plenty of opportunity for water skiing, sailing, scuba diving etc. There is good walking and natural history opportunities in the nearby country park nd there is a local glass bottom boat service available.

Cala Figuera is the most beautiful small fishing port in Mallorca and is close to several stunning beaches such as Cala Mandrago - two beautiful beaches in Nature Reserve - 10 minutes drive - excellent beach bars; Es Trenc which is a 20 minutes drive away has the longest undeveloped sandy beach on the island, excellent beach bar, shallow bathing; Cala Santanyi and other small beaches are in the near vicinity.

Palma de Mallorca is 40 miles distant and a car is essential to be able to enjoy sightseeing on this part of the island.

Val D'Or golf course is 20/25 minutes drive away with superb 18 hole course and club house.
