The Formentera region
Formentera is the smallest & most southerly of the Baleriac Islands, easy going and carefree, The beaches compete with some of the best in the world, fine sands, and crystal clear waters, shell strewn coves or that rocky inlet, many beaches offer sun shades, sun beds, and water sports, restaurants and small kiosks, sand dunes and pine trees blend onto the beaches, offering welcome shade from the heat of the mid day sun.
Whatever your tastes you will find an unspoilt paradise offering a variety of restaurants, great shops , boutiques, bars and ambient cafes to sit and watch the world go by.
Cala En Baster / San Ferran area
Casa Pax, is approx ½ kilometre from the lively town of San Ferran, here Lively bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, banks etc await you. Alternatively If it is sun and beaches, a 3min walk down to the cove, snorkling and swimming is fantastic here, or a 5/10min drive to one of the many incredibly stunning beaches await you.
Es Pujols, another lively beachside resort is again only 10min drive. What ever you preference Casa Pax is the perfect base to enjoy the stunning Island of Formentera.
How to get there
Casa Pax is located on the beautiful Island of Formentera, the whole journey is easy and wonderful and the beginning of your holiday adventure:
Firstly you need to Fly into IBIZA ( Flights are direct from most Airports during May - end Oct UK) . Then take a short taxi ride to the port in Ibiza town: cost approx 15 euros:
The Taxi will drop you at the Ferry Terminal, from here you will need to take the ferry: these are great, it is only a short trip. approx 30mins.
The ferry to Formentera sails every 45mins and you can enjoy the fantastic views between the two Islands: often dolphins will play in the wake of the ferry as you travel over. cost 19 euros pp.
Once there you will need to jump in a taxi, or we can arrange for a hire car to be waiting for you, or alternatively you can hire your own car, bike or scooter from the many rental outlets here in the port or all over the Island.
The journey from Port Savina to Casa Pax takes approx 10mins, will cost you approx 12 - 15 euros.(Taxi)

Further details indoors: Casa pax is beautiful spacious Villa standing in its own large grounds, of approx 4,000 sq metres , rosemary bushes, tyme, and pine trees surround the house, and their scent fills the air. Pax has spectacular views down the coast and across the Island
The house is comfortably furnished to high standard, as is all the facilities, Cuttlery, crockery, glass wear etc. big squashy cushions, outside furniture, for those alfresco meals, sunbeds etc. are all of of high quality.
The kitchen is also well equipped with Gas cooker, Fridge freezer, Microwave, pots and pans, and general kitchen ware, you should not want for nothing. There is a washing Machine which can be made available to you, by prior arrangment, There is also a large Bar-B-Q custom built. (there is nothing nicer than putting fresh rosemary on those lamb steaks and watching then cook, in the evening sun. whilst sipping your chilled wine. a perfect place for a perfect holiday:
Casa Pax is more than a holiday home, it is our private home which we let out to the descerning guests who go that one extra step.
Further details outdoors: Pax stands in its own large natural grounds, surrounded by pine trees , rosemary bushes& tyme , The house faces south, so you can watch the sun rise and set, from one side of the Island to the other, There are hammocks swinging in the trees, plus sun loungers on the terraces:
We do recomend a car, although it is possible to walk to the nearest town (san Ferran) approx 1km away here there are supermarkets, bakeries, cafes etc. excellent restaurants and Bars, and deffinately something for everyones taste: it is one of the livliest places on the Island in the evening, and all throng here.
Formentera, is not at all like Ibiza, and retains its natural charm, all nationalites, frequent Formentera, the British, are not the majority, so if its San Antonio, and kiss me quick hats, a Full English, then Casa Pax and Formentera is deffinately NOT for you.

Refundable breakages deposit of £100.required to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
25% deposit required to secure booking.
Balance due in full 6 weeks prior to your stay.
