Apartment in Cala d'Or,only three years old , king size bed, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, in lovely condition , south facing balcony, in the sun all day. (please if you wish to smoke can you use the balcony) .The COMPLEX IS NOT USED BY ANY TRAVEL COMPANIES.!!!.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

The smart resort of cala dor lies on the south east coast of majorca approx 50 mins from palma airport. Cala dor is a modern purpose built resort built from an original village. the resort has now spread over approx 4km of small nearby coves and creeks. The resort still has the feeling of a small village. A large marina has a varied selection of shops,bars and restaurants. CALA GRAN, close to the centre of the resort,is the largest beach,near cala dor itself,a pine fringed cove with sunlounges,parasols and pedaloes which can be hired at these beaches.Cala d'or is known as the best shopping district on majorca,its main shopping street,avinguda tagomago,filled with chic boutiques,leather shops and galleries. Designer clothes and shoes,inparticular,are available at reasonable prices.For designer wear a good
port of call is Irocco on avinguda tagomago,and for a classy pair of shoes to match the outfit visit the exclusive farrutx store near placa ibiza.Trendy clothes are available at two piscies outlets in the town centre.

Cala D'Or / Cala Egos area

Sunday morning market in the nearby town of Felanitx is well worth a visit.There are numerous adjacent smaller resorts and quaint villages clustered around the calas all along the south-east coastline,connected by a good bus service,which means visitors can make exursions to explore the delights of places like,puerto petro,cala mondrago,cala figuera,cala santanyi and cala Llombarts.the cala d'or marina is the heart of the east coast resort area,attracting the fashionable yachting set.Cala'egos and Cala d'or has seven beaches
of which the largest is cala gran,all with fine white sand and clear shallow water. The larger beaches have good facilities offering watersports including sailing,windsurfing,and scuba -diving.Those wishing to venture further afield can take a (champagne cruise) along the coastline,ride a mini-train to picturesque cala mondrago with its two lovely coves,or take excursions to the villages of cala figuera,puerto petro.sa colonia de sant jordi or the isle of cabrera.The children can enjoytrampolines and mini go-karts at mallorcalandia,as well as mini-golf in the town centre.There is a golf course at VALL D'OR GOLF CLUB .

EASY JET,fly direct from liverpool-gatwick-luton-stanstead-newcastle.There are connecting flights in scotland to gatwick,luton&stanstead from aberdeen,edinburgh,glasgow & inverness. FLY direct from a number of airports around the uk,and in scotland from edinburgh,glasgow & aberdeen. DIRECT CHARTER FLIGHTS operate form most main domestic UK airports through the summer, and some through the winter months. There are also some direct schedule flight operators, the "WWW" is a great source of information.
