About the home

A well equipped and spacious top floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment located within a pleasant private complex next to the sea with a communal pool. The apartment has a balcony with good sea views and is ideally situated for those wishing to be close enough to all the amenities of Cala d’Or.

The complex has the added security of a private secure entrance gate and car parking. The two local beaches are less than 2 minutes walk of the apartment and the local commercial area of Cala Ferrera is less than 5 minutes walk.

The apartment has 2 very spacious bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. There is a double bed settee in the lounge and a well equipped kitchen. It is ideally suited to couples or families. There is a t.v./video combo, however the television does not receive any channels, although, there is a large selection of videos available for your use.

Outside there is a balcony with good sea views. Private complex gardens which lead to the communal pool and direct sea access. Secure complex with entrance gate and car parking. No lifeguard is present at the pool.

Changeover day usually Thursdays but contact us to discuss this as we can sometimes be flexible.

The property may only be accessed after 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Bed linen, bath and hand towels are provided, however, you will need to provide your own beach towels. Cleaning service provided by Busy Bees Property Management to provide clean linen & towels and apartment servicing.

Please note that smoking is only permitted on the terrace or outside areas.

Cots, highchairs and other equipment available upon request.

Conditions

20% deposit required to secure booking - non-refundable in case of cancellation. Balance due 6 weeks prior to departure in addition to £150 damage deposit which is refunded within 7-10 days of you leaving the apartment should everything be satisfactory.

Cala Ferrera Beach

The Mallorca/Majorca region

The beautiful island of Mallorca has something to offer everyone. The pleasant climate of May and September is the perfect time to take a well earned holiday to unwind. During the summer months, the climate is stronger giving you lots of time to build the perfect tan and enjoy a day on one of the 7 fantastic beaches known as coves or "Calas" that Cala d'Or has to offer.

The capital city of Palma is a beautiful place to visit with tourist attractions such as the Cathedral or the weekly market - why not take a day out in this beautiful city.

There are many other excursions available to suit all tastes from market excursions to the Caves of Drach where you will experience a truly magical time. There are several water parks around the island to provide enjoyment for all the family or why not enjoy an evening of dinner and a show at one of the well known places such as Son Amar.

Also local to Cala d'or is the fantastic area of Cala Mondrago - a national park which is well worth a visit or simpoy enjoy a relaxing day one of the beautiful beaches there.

The island of Mallorca is so easy to explore with several options of transport for you to choose from. Buses run regularly around the island or perhaps you fancy booking an excursion giving you the opportunity to visit several attractions in one day. Alternatively, you can hire a car from one of the many car hire establishments or for the more energetic guest, bicycle hire is also available around the island.

The Cala D'Or / Cala Ferrera area

The high street of Cala Ferrera with all banks, shops, bars and restaurants is within a 2 minute walking distance. There are also doctors, clinics and pharmacies within a short distance of the apartment. The resort of Cala d'Or is within 10 minutes walking distance where you will find more shops, bars and restaurants. The Cala Llonga Marina of Cala d'or is also easily accessible from here.

The local bus service runs up and along the East Coast throughout the day taking you to such resorts as; Porto Colom, Porto Cristo, Cala Bona, Cala Millor. The buses to Palma run several times a day for under 10 euros. There are several markets which run throughout the week, one of our recommendations in the local market of Felanitx which runs every Sunday. Another local attraction here is the monastery of San Salvador which is only 10 minutes away by car.

Golf:
For golf enthusiasts, there are 2 golf courses nearby. "Vall d'Or Golf Club" and "Son Antem Golf Club". Vall d'Or is a 15 minute drive away from the apartment. This 18 hole course has excellent fairways and greens and has some stunning sea views, especially on the first 9 holes. The club house is very well equipped with a large bar/restaurant area and a lovely big sun terrace overlooking the course and the sea beyond which is perfect for a relaxing drink after your round. Club hire, trolley hire and buggy hire can be organised at reception.

There is a shop, a driving range and a putting green. The course is open 12 months a year, although booking your round in advance is advisable especially during the busier months. The golf and spa resort Club Son Antem is around a 25 minute drive away.
