The villa is located within a quiet residential area of Cala Egos. Situated within its own gardens, it has a lovely swimming pool, shared with 5 other privately owned villas and two large sun terraces. The villa is superbly located, being only a one or two minute walk from the Mediterranean, a choice of two beaches and the main restaurant and shopping area of Cala Egos.
Within a 15 minute walk of the villa is the magnificent Cala d'Or marina, which has become one of the most cosmopolitan marinas in Europe, with some of the largest and most exotic yachts and boats from all over the world. The marina area is one of the most sophisticated in Mallorca, where you will find many superb restaurants and bars with splendid views overlooking the marina and on the waters edge.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
The Santanyi region of Mallorca has a huge variety of places to visit, including several superb beaches and hidden coves. The beach at Cala Mondrago, just a ten minute drive away, was recently voted in the top ten best beaches in the world by the Sunday Times.
Take a drive out to Felanitx & visit the magnificent mountain top monastery of San Salvador with its spectacular views. There are two cafes, one in the monastery itself which is open all year and a second which has a terrace area and is open through the main season.
Santanyi has a market day on a Wednesday & Saturday. Head for the centre and here you will find local cafes and Tapas bars (near the big church), situated within a lovely courtyard dominated at one end by the imposing church.
Visit the famous 13th century orange-stone church at Felanitx and take time to walk round the market, held every Sunday starting at about 10.00 a.m. till 2.00p.m.
Cala Figuera is a small fishing port, which has a selection of cafés & bars, a lovely location for a relaxing stroll. Wait until around 4:30 p.m. during the week and you can watch them bring the day’s catch onto the quayside and purchase direct from the fishermen!
Cala D'Or / Cala Egos area
Within Cala Egos itself there are a wide variety of excellent restaurants, great bars, a good supermarket, pharmacy and medical centre, car and bike hire facilities, shops and an internet cafe.
A land train is available which collects at various stops throughout Cala Egos and Cala d'Or and runs to all the local beaches.
There are glass bottom boat trips that visit many of the local beaches and fishing villages including Cala Mondrago and Cala Figuera. The boat collects and drops off at the Cala Egos beach, just two minutes walk from the villa.
For those of you interested in sports, there is tennis, horse riding, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba diving, and the excellent Val d’Or 18 hole golf course is a few minutes drive from Cala d’Or.
How to get there
All the low cost carriers fly in and out of Mallorca's airport in Palma (PMI), called Son Sant Joan.
Taxi's are located outside the arrivals hall and all the main car hire companies are located in the arrivals terminal. We can recommend the best car hire companies to use.

Further details indoors: The villa has an open plan lounge with 3 seater and 2 seater leather sofas, satellite TV, DVD and video players. The dining room has a six seater table and chairs. The large kitchen has a cooker, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, breakfast bar that seats two and breakfast room that seats 4. French windows open onto the breakfast terrace area which overlooks the pool.
Further details outdoors: The villa has a large frontage with parking for one car, is securely surrounded by hedging and walling. The gardens are enclosed and secure and include two large terraces and BBQ area. There are sunbeds for use in the garden and brollies on the terraces.
