This is a beautiful one bedroom apartment set in a quiet location on a headland between to beaches. There is a communal pool and the apartment has it's own garden complete with garden furniture.

The apartment is very near to the shops and bars of Cala Ferrera and the town of Cala D'or is only a short walk away where you will find banks, doctor, restaurants etc. There is a children's playground nearby and the beaches are within a few minutes walk. The Golf course of Vall D'or is only a 15 minute car journey away. There is a boat tour that leaves nearby which takes you around the coast visiting the Cala Figuera and the National Park beach of Cala Mondrago.

The Mallorca/Majorca region

Cala D'or is situated in the south east of the island . Nearby in the town of Porto Cristo you can visit the famous Caves of Drach. The nearby monestry of San Salvador is situated on top of a mountain from where you can view all around the island; a drink from it's well is meant to increase your fertility so be warned! There are many street markets on various days in the different nearby towns. Visit Manacor market and take in a visit to the famous Mallorcan Peal factory. A trip to Palma Cathedral is a lovely day out and you can catch a train from Palma to Soller through the mountains taking in beautiful views of the island.


Cala D'Or / Cala Ferrera area

The area is make up of Calas (coves) with sandy beaches and beautiful clear blue sea. Cala Ferrera is a great location for everyone. There are bars, restaurants, shops very close by. A local bus can take you into Palma for the day and local car hire/money exchange places can organise trips to many of Mallorca's attractions. A day out to Aqualand one of the islands water parks is a great day for the children and adults alike.

The nearby town of Cala D'or is a 10 minute walk away where you can wander through the pedestrian area with restaurants and shops. There is a marina full of beautiful yachts and fish restaurants overlook the harbour.

The 18 hole Golf Course of Vall D'or is a 15 minute car journey away where you will find a lovely club house complete with outside swimming pool.


How to get there

Cala D'or is in the South East of the Island. The main Airport is Palma and this is easily accessible with airlines such as Easyjet, Thomsons, XL, BMI Baby, British Airways who fly from most UK main airports. We will be happy to help you find prices. The nearest Port is Palma, ferries to and from mainland Spain go from here. Hire cars are available locally or from Palma Airport. We are 45mins to an hour from the airport. Taxis are readily available and we can book these for you if you require.

The apartment comprises of a spacious bedroom with twin beds. There is plently of wardrobe/drawer space to store your clothes and hairdryer for your convenience. The bathroom has a shower and has recently been refurbished. The newly fitted kitchen has all you need, a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, hob and washing machine. There is a dining area for 4 people and a large lounge area with a double sofabed. TV, PS2 for watching DVDs or playing games and a stereo. The apartment is non-smoking but you are welcome to smoke outside. Only Familys and Couples are accepted. Sorry we do not accept pets. Linen and towels are provided however beach towels are not supplied.

Further details outdoors:
The patio doors lead onto our terrace and into our garden where you will find loungers table/chairs. You can then walk through the communal gardens to the pool which is set right beside the sea with beautiful views over the bay. The beaches are lovely and clean and great for children. There is a small children's playground very close by. There are bars, restaurants and small supermarkets within a few minutes walk and the larger supermarket Caprabo is situated in the centre of Cala D'or where you will also find the banks, doctors and more bars and restaurants. The Vall D'or Golf Course is a 15 min car ride away and we do have details of prices etc.

We are flexible on changeover days.

We can provide a hire service from a local company on items such as , pushchairs/parasols, highchairs, steam sterilisers, baby monitor, bed guards for small children, airconditioning units, coolbox, extra fans etc. Please ask us for an item and we will endeavour to obtain it for you and quote you.


Conditions

We require a 25% non refundable desposit with the booking and the balance will be due 8 weeks before departure. There will be a refundable deposit of £150 for breakages or loss of keys; this will be returned to you as soon as the apartment has been checked and the keys returned. We reserve the right to readvertise your holiday should you fail to pay the balance of the holdiay by the 8 week deadline.
