About the home

This is a beautiful one bedroom apartment set in a quiet location on a headland between to beaches. There is a communal pool and the apartment has it's own garden.

The apartment is very near (2 min walk) to the shops and bars of Cala Ferrera and the town of Cala D'or is only a short walk away where you will find banks, doctor, restaurants etc. There is a children's playground nearby and the beaches are within a few minutes walk. The Golf course of Vall D'or is only a 15 minute car journey away.

Cala D'or is situated in the south east of the island .

The Cala D'Or / Cala Ferrera area

The area is made up of Calas (coves) with sandy beaches and beautiful clear blue sea. Cala Ferrera is a great location for everyone. There are bars, restaurants, shops very close by. A local bus can take you into Palma.

The nearby town of Cala D'or is a 10 minute walk away where you can wander through the pedestrian area with restaurants and shops. There is a marina full of beautiful yachts and fish restaurants overlook the harbour.

The 18 hole Golf Course of Vall D'or is a 15 minute car journey away where you will find a lovely club house complete with outside swimming pool.

“Well equipped apartment in a good location” Apartment was comfortable and clean. The gardens were lovely, on a promontory jutting out into the sea. Sea bathing from steps down from rocks. Cala Ferrera a good resort for young couples, couples with young children or retired couples. Quite lively at night but no rowdiness. Hire a car and explore the island - very spanish in the interior and lovely scenery.

“Fabulous” Stayed in Apartment Ferera July 2012. Enjoyed every minute of the 2 week holiday. Weather wasn't to hot either, just a comfortable 30C at day and 20C at night. Arrived at apartment @ 23:30 and even then it was easy to find and all instructions on how to get there and how to find keys to apartment was spot on, especially going to a place youv'e never been before. Thanks to Sharon and Andy for all the effort they have put in to make the stay as comfortable as possible. ie. welcome pack with all the info you need, the washing machine is definately a blessing, especially for the beach towels. Mini hi fi, playstation and sky to keep up to date with news. apartment very close to sea/rocks and only 100yards or so from the beach. you need to be early on the beach, could get very crowded especially during peak season. Bought most of our shopping at Eroski supermarket, stroll there and take taxi back for a fiver, you easily save triple that in one visit. would also recommend andy's bar for a nice meal and prices are excellent. Cala D'Or is more a familly orientated resort hence my choice to go there. More quiet and relaxing than some resorts around. Already making plans to go back there in the near future. Thanks again Sharon and Andy.
