GROUND FLOOR : Upon entering through the oak-studded front door is the hallway, leading directly into the expansive living / dining room with cushioned sofas, Satellite TV, CD, DVD and twin french doors opening to the sun drenched furnished sun terraces with palm shade. Excellent meals are assured from your own kitchen affording all modern requirements including dishwasher, microwave, large fridge / freezer, electric oven and gas hob, full surround eye-level cupboards, breakfast area, walk in pantry with extra fridge / freezer and as an added bonus you have direct access to the BBQ casita and poolside terraces. The separate house-keepers laundry room houses the washing machine and guests toilet. BEDROOM ONE is an attractive twin bedroom with full en-suite shower room and garden views.

UPSTAIRS : An inner stone archway leads to the staircase leading to the galleried landing with seating area, where an extra bed can be added if required. BEDROOM TWO is the romantic master double bedroom with en-suite bath / shower room and far reaching sea views. BEDROOM THREE is a very spacious twin bedroom.BEDROOM FOUR is a pleasant twin bedroom with picture windows affording distant sea views. Bedroom three and four share one full bath / shower room and have direct access to the upper sun terrace. All bedrooms ( 20-23 m2 ) have air conditioning and are comfortably furnished with fitted wardrobes handmade by the local capinter. Note : The air conditioning is on a timer for ten hours daily.

WHEELCHAIRS : Es Serral is suitable for most wheelchair users as the land surrounding the house is mainly flat. The width of the doorway to the downstairs shower-room / toilet is 66 cm. There is one step from the pool terrace to the interior, where there is one further step onto the tiled floor.

SURROUNDINGS : Outside the magnificent floodlit swimming pool has Roman steps and furnished sun terraces with Day-bed and reclining sun loungers adjacent to the impressive BBQ casita with a large dining terrace overlooking the pool, lounge-set, washing facilities and another shower/bathroom. This is an ideal entertainment area for sipping afternoon mint teas or enjoying evening cocktails before al-fresco dining. The local village of S'Horta has a weekly farmers market offering individual handcrafts and an abundance of local fruit and vegetables.

The Balearic Islands region

Mallorca is the largest of Balearic Islands, and along with its sister islands of Menorca and Ibiza, lies in the Mediterranean Sea off the south east coast of mainland Spain. Flying time from most UK airports is around 2 - 2.1/2 hours and on arrival local time is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

The first recognisable landmark on the final approach before landing will be the magnificent 14th Century Gothic cathedral at nearby Palma, and the sight of it from the air never ceases to take your breath away. Son Sant Joan, which is the main tourist airport, is a large modern facility, and is located in the south of the island just outside the capital Palma and a little to the north of the resort of C'an Pastilla. However, when flying out from the island please be aware that the departure gates are a considerable distance from the check in desks, so be warned, allow plenty of time for the walk to the aircraft!

Once you have cleared Customs Control and collected your luggage, there are always large numbers of taxi waiting outside of the arrivals hall, although during busy periods you should also be prepared to stand and wait your turn in a queue for the next one to become available. Taxis on Majorca do represent good value for money by European standards, and can instantly be recognised as being the large eggshell/white cars with a green light on the roof.

One thing that you should be aware of is a standard taxi on the island is only licenced to carry a maximum of 4 passengers plus a "reasonable" amount of luggage, so for larger groups of travellers, or those with special needs, it is our recommendation to make provision for a pre-booked taxi to be waiting for you at the airport, and clearly specify at the time of booking that a larger, or specially adapted, vehicle is needed for the journey.

Since the onset of mass tourism in the 1960's, Mallorca has without doubt, been one of the most popular holiday destinations for all nationalities, offering a wide range of attractions to suit all tastes. However, as a generalisation, the resorts on the islands south coast are the more lively and perhaps more suited for groups of young singles, or those seeking an active nightlife.

Cala D'Or

CALA D'OR is a popular destination and it attracts families with children and those who wish to have a more relaxing holiday. The resort stretches about 3 km along the coastline and is very peaceful with the small town and the beauty of its seven beaches. If you are planning to rent a villa for your holiday, Cala d'Or is a great destination. Cala d'Or centre has many restaurants and shops, although these are also to be found around each individual cove with crystal clear water and beautyful colours. Entertainment is mainly found in the hotels, although there are a variety of live music bars, lively pubs and discotheques.

PORTOCOLOM safe haven throughout time for seafarers plying the Mare Nostrum, is one of the best natural harbours in Mallorca. Only eleven kilometres from the town of Felanitx to which it belongs it is, nowadays, one of the most picturesque corners of the Island.

"Fantastic week in a fantastic Villa"

We all enjoyed the stay in this charming Villa. Excellent service throughout our stay. It is nice to be close to the beach and golf and we enjoyed the nearby local restaurants, 3 of them in the village of Calonge. The market in Santanyi was nice to visit, we would like to come back next year, thanks.
