This beautiful, elegant and quiet seventh-floor apartment sleeps 4-6 people. The apartment is in the outskirts of the suburb of Heliopolis, a famously quiet and upmarket residential area populated by government ministers and even the President of Egypt. Local shops and amenities, plus the 5-star Fairmont Hotel and conference centre, are located a mere 5 minutes by car from the apartment.

There is both a Mosque and Church near by. The City Star shopping centre, just 20 minutes away, boasts cafes, a cinema complex, restaurants and a wide variety of shops including many major brands. The Egyptian bazaar Khan el Khaliki is about 30 minutes away. Egypt's other major attractions are also close at hand: the Nile and the Egyptian Museum are 40 minutes away, the Pyramids 1 hour away, and it's a two-and-a-half hour train journey to the library at Alexandria, which is well worth the visit.

Egypt is synonymous with history, and Cairo has been at the very centre of Egyptian culture and history for thousands of years, making it a great place if you want to familiarise yourself with this country and its rich and fascinating heritage. Just an hour away, for example, you will find the legendary Pyramids of Giza, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World which is still standing! The Egyptian Antiquities Museum is home to the treasures of the "boy-king" Tutenkhamun and provides a window into the splendour of ancient Egypt, while a trip sailing on the Nile is not to be missed.

That said, Cairo's 5000-year history does not weigh it down, and the city is also a thoroughly modern metropolis. The cultural centre of the Arab world, Cairo is a fabulous place for shopping, entertainment and culture.

Rates are variable according to the number of people and the time of year. Rates may be subject to negotiation for longer terms (more than two weeks). We do not offer any discounts. Our rates are based on the standard of the apartment.

Upon booking, a deposit of 15% of the total is due. The remaining balance is due before your arrival in Cairo.

In case of cancellation notice is required at least 6 weeks before - full refund given less £25 administration fee. You can rearrange your booking within two weeks of first booking.
