Brand new apartment comprising of two bedrooms both with double beds, the first has a king bed with plasma TV, large dressing area and en-suite bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, dining table that sits 6 and large living room with corner sofa and tv/dvd. Second bathroom is off this room.

A large balcony extends across the front of the apartment accessed from both the kitchen/dining area and main bedroom. The balcony is furnished with two sun lounges, table and chairs with views over the pool and out tot the - perfect for enjoying breakfast, evening dinner or after dinner drinks

The Queensland / Far North region

Palm Cove is located in tropical north Queensland, approximately a 20 minute drive North of Cairns International Airport and 30 minutes south of Port Douglas. It is an intimate coastal town regarded as the 'Spa Capital' of Australia, ideal for 'honeymooners', couples or families and the perfect location to explore what this region has to offer which is plentiful!

Palm Cove Summer temperatures range from 31 degrees during day to 25 degrees at night.
Winter temperatures range from 26 degrees during day to 17 degrees at night.


Cairns / Palm Cove area

A jetty 200m along the beach has daily excursions out to the Great Barrier Reef and all type of water sports are available here also.

Excursion are plentiful, we highly recommend the Daintree Rainforest (40 mins), Sky Rail (20 mins), Night Zoo(5mins), White Water Rafting (10 mins) and if you're daring Skydiving! (20mins) - Jumping out of a plane 14,000 feet above the barrier reef is something you'll never forget!

Palm Cove is 20 Minutes drive north of Cairns Airport, take the Captain Cook Highway and turn into Palm Cove when you see the signs. Drift is located on the beach on the corners of Veviers Road/Williams Esplanade

Local buses runs every half hour to Palm Cove and also connect you to all the beaches up the coast. Taxi costs your roughly $40 or there is even a meet and greet service available.

Even though the apartment is privately owned we have negotiated with the hotel to allow our guests to check in at reception and also to receive fresh towels and replenished toiletries on a daily basis without charge.

Within the resort you have an award winning restaurant - Spice Market - who's menu and food has been compared to the OXO Tower in London, here you will receive 15% discount as a guest in the hotel. There is also a Vodka ice bar which overlooks lagoon pools which wind there way through the open planned foyer of the hotel. Together with full spa facilities, gymnasium and first class service this is a resort you will want to come back to

Further details outdoors:
Opposite the hotel you have a mile long palm tree lined beach which is completely child friendly and has full watersports on offer to hire. Along the end of the beach is a jetty from which daily Quicksilver tours journey out to the reef for snorkelling or scuba trips.

*Just wanted to say a huge THANKYOU - we had a sensational stay in Palm Cove and the apartment was just fantastic! :-) Even though we checked out at about 10.45am we couldn't leave that beautiful little town... so peaceful and relaxing... and had brunch at the Sebel before walking along the beach in the water back to our car... we were so reluctant to say farewell to Palm Cove! The apartment is located in a great position and is spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could possibly require. Palm Cove is a fantastic location added to which the laid back lifestyle and the truly spacious and well furnished apartment provided a peaceful and restful and very comfortable holiday. We have nothing but praise for Palm Cove and its unspolit and underdeveloped characteristics, a lovely resort. We would also advise visitors to take a hire car over a day or two to explore the breathtaking scenery north along the Captain Cook Highway to Port Douglas and beyond. This was a holiday to remember and we will keep our memories along with hundreds of photographs and share them with friends that are considering doing the same type of trip in the future.
