Pretty House is a sweet cottage of 100 sq.m., countryside, submerged in a flowered fruit garden of 1000sqm, well protected and encircled side to side. Inside parking for two cars. Two verandah and barbecue.
It can host from 2 to 6 people, in two separated flats, completely and nicely furnished:

apartment ONE: 2/4 people – 1 double bedroom – 1 living room with 1double studio couch and cooking corner, with the dinner table and chairs – 1 bathroom with shower - 1 large veranda with dinner table and chairs – barbecue.

apartment TWO: 2 people – large one-room apartment - sleeping area with 2 single bed (or with 1 double bed) under a wooden loft – large living room with a fireplace, dinner table and chairs – kitchenette -1 bathroom with shower – Veranda with table and chairs.

IN ORDER TO GRANT TRANQUILLITY AND PRIVACY, RENTING THE ENTIRE COTTAGE OF TWO FLATS IS ALLOWED ONLY FOR ONE FAMILIAL GROUP, OR ONE GROUP OF FRIENDS.

Cagliari / Villamassargia area

Villamassargia is a little town in the middle of a big valley all around the Cixerri River. The country is rich of Mediterranean plants and overall of olive threes. Here nature is generous and there is the opportunity of tasting a big variety of biological food: olive oil, honey, milk and cheese. The first economical activity in Villamassargia is textile small industry thanks to a very old tradition.

History: In medieval times, Villamassargia was the richest village of South- West Sardinia. The memory of this glorious past is kept in the Historical Park of S’Ortu Mannu (there are huge number of olive threes planted in 1300) and two Romanic Churches in downtown: Santa Maria della Neve and Nostra Signora del Pilar.
At the beginning of XX century Villamassargia was a miners’ town: many of its inhabitants worked in Orbai Mine, where today there is still an old village.

Pretty House is located in Villamassargia, a small town characteristic of the sweet Sulcis-Iglesiente, laying between hills and plains. It’s the best starting point for visiting this south west side of Sardinia, still untouched, with the wild sea shores still not covered by cement and buildings. You can find here wild creeks and sea rocks, but also large, white, and quiet sandy beaches. It’s an area rich of nature, wilderness, genuineness.
The history of Sulcis-Iglesiente is a history of poor but audacious and boastful shepherds, fishermen and miners. You can visit the old mines in MINIERE VISITABILI. Do not forget the fish restaurants of Isola di Sant’Antioco and Carloforte,
