About the home

The house has been built dipped in the green of the typical Mediterranean bush which is so characteristic of the Sardinian vegetation. Private parking lot. Front covered patio, with table and chairs, barbecue and a big garden (1500 sqm / 16140 sqft) that overview the "golfo degli angeli".
In the heart of the mediterranean, from here following the arc of the gulf you can easily reach an infinity of beaches with transparent and uncontaminated sea: Azzura bay (5min drive), Mortorio beach (3min drive), Cala Regina Mare Pintau (5min drive), the beaches of Geremeas and Baccu Mandara, the beach of Torre delle Stelle and Solanas beach(15min drive),the most beautiful and famous coves and the protected sea areas of south Sardinia through panoramic roads with views of incredible beauty, with the advantage to be a few kms. from the city chief-town, Cagliari, real pearl of the Mediterranean with its marvellous and ancient sites, the castle, the bastion, the harbor’s alleys with the typical inns of fish, the elegants shopping streets, its archaeological monuments, Phoenician - Puniques – Romans, the summer concerts in the roman amphitheater, its endless beach “the Poetto” and the pink flamingos.

Weather in Sardinia
By Easter, the whole island is in bloom. The countryside is aglow in the yellows of wild gorse and mimosa. Fragrant blue lavender blends with white cistos bushes and wild violets and orchids line the walkways. Around the time spring''s colours fade, red corn poppies begin to bloom in the yellow wheat fields, and the landscape shows its summer colours. Along the sandy beaches of Southern Sardinia one can start swimming very early in the year. In fact, the swimming season lasts from May through November.

Blessed with a mild climate, the regional capital of Sardinia (164.250 inhabitants) is a town full of fascinating history and friendly people. Located on the southern side of the island, Cagliari is linked to the mainland by the port and the airport. It has been inhabited for a very long time, and owes its features to a melting pot of traditions, architectural styles and habits, influenced in turn by the former Phenician, Roman, Byzantine, Spanish dominations. “Totally Chillaxing - as my kids would say!” Great place to stay if you like to totally relax on a sunny patio facing the sea. Ideally placed for days out, supermarkets etc, local beaches good and not too touristy! Not overwhemed... more

An ispiring beautiful hideaway.
Very romantic, peaceful and relaxing.
Waking up to the sound of birds singing and bees buzzing.
The breath taking view from patio/terrace.
Sun setting over the hill-followed by moonbeams bouncing off the sea.
Fresh coffee, superb Sardinian wine and local food: so easy to blend into and make ourselves at home.
