By Easter, the whole island is in bloom. The countryside is aglow in the yellows of wild gorse and mimosa. Fragrant blue lavender blends with white cistos bushes and wild violets and orchids line the walkways. Around the time spring''s colours fade, red corn poppies begin to bloom in the yellow wheat fields, and the landscape shows its summer colours. Along the sandy beaches of Southern Sardinia one can start swimming very early in the year. In fact, the swimming season lasts from May through November.

How to get there

Fly to Cagliari Elmas. You can reach the house in 10 minutes by bus or taxi from Cagliari Elmas airport, and walk from the port. Buses stops at 10 metres away. Cagliari Elmas airport at only 7 kms; Port of Cagliari at only 200 metres; railway station at only 400m; historical Nora at 20km; close to A-road about 2km.

Just 10 minutes from the house by bus or drive you will find 'Poetto beach' a strip of 11kms of white sand between the blue sea and the natural oasis of Molentargius. It is thanks to the mild climate that it one of the most beloved meeting point all year around. The beach is equipped with sun umbrellas and sun chairs. During spring and summer it's the perfect setting for sport events.
