The Central Israel/Haifa region
Israel is located at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea. Hasharon is located approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the Mediterranean coastline.
Israel's diverse culture stems from the diversity of the population: Jews from around the world have brought their cultural and religious traditions with them, creating a melting pot of Jewish customs and beliefs. Israel is the only country in the world where life revolves around the Hebrew calendar.
Work and school holidays are determined by the Jewish holidays, and the official day of rest is Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. Israel's substantial Arab minority has also left its imprint on Israeli culture in such spheres as architecture, music, and cuisine.
The region has a typical Mediterranean climate with cool, rainy winters and long, hot summers. From May to September, rain in Israel is rare.
Caesarea area
Located in Israel's coastal region, halfway between Haifa and Tel-Aviv, Caesarea is nothing short of an archaeological wonderland.
Dating back thousands of years, the city of Caesarea was founded by Herod the Great with the intention of boasting the largest harbour in the Mediterranean.
Also known as “Caesarea as near Sebastos,” Caesarea of Straton, Caesarea of Palestine, Caesarea Palaestinae, Colonia Prima Flavia Augusta Caesariensis, Herodian Caesarea.
