The cottage also comes with a lawned garden and patio furniture, offering a great excuse for al fresco dining on warm summer nights. The Powys / Brecon Beacons / Powys region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls.
Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast.
To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers. Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
The Caersws / Trefeglwys area
Surrounded by superb countryside, the attractive village of Trefeglwys provides a wide range of local amenities and activities. With a village shop and pub as well as facilities for walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching, kite feeding and clay pigeon shooting, this charming rural settlement has everything a visitor could possibly need for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Built on the banks of the River Severn, the nearby historic town of Llanidloes boasts a variety of architecture including timber-framed buildings, as well as an impressive old market hall. The town provides everything that Trefeglwys doesn’t, including antique shops, pubs, restaurants and scenic riverside walks. For water sports, the renowned beauty spots of Llyn Clywedog’s 236-foot high dam and the Hafren Forest are close by.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
