The North Wales region
The coastline of North Wales is mostly rural with a number of seaside towns lining the coast from Rhyl to Pwllheli. Scattered among them are medieval castles built by Edward I. Many of these castles are remarkably well preserved, none more so than the Caernarfon Castle where the investiture of Prince Charles took place. Dinas Dinlle beach is an award wining beach with miles of sand and dunes. The Snowdonia National Park, founded in 1951, was the first to be designated in Wales with mighty Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), Wales highest mountain, at 3560ft (1085m), dominating northern Snowdonia and being the most climbed mountain in Britain. Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) lays just off the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula - a site of pilgrimage for Christians through the ages.
Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Criccieth & Pwllheli in the Lleyn Peninsula are all within easy reach of the hamlet of Nebo with a varied and interesting mix of activities and attractions on offer - from boat trips to interesting historical tours, from mines to beaches, Roman Forts and historical Castles, mountain walks to steam railways.

"Absolutely fantastic, could not fault it"
The cottage was wonderful. Very clean, well equipped and the extra touches that Siwsan and Neil provided made it all the more special. The "swan towels" looked amazing and the welcome pack of wine, fresh eggs from their chickens, tea, coffee, milk, soaps and shower gels were really appreciated. The views were beautiful. The cottage setting is very peaceful and quiet. It is close to shops and supermarkets despite its rural setting. The Snowdonia national park is so near as are amazing beaches, castles and woodland. After a day out walking it was lovely to spend a cosy evening by the woodburning stove. We will definitely be booking again in the future. And our 2 dogs had a fantastic holiday as well.

"High quality cottage in an outstanding area"
As of the first contact with Sue and Neil, we felt that we were very welcome in their nice cottage. Everything you would require during a holiday was available: well equiped kitchen, cosy living room with wood burner, a very clean badroom two spacy sleeping rooms and a great view accross the fields towards the sea. There was also plenty of documentation available, with Sue and Neil always helpfull to provide more info.

A wonderful place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was great to cook in and the fireplace was most appreciated! We were there for the second coldest spring on record so was quite cold, but there was plenty of firewood and it cost us about 20 pounds in electricity for the week. Would love to stay there again.

"Perfect way to celebrate New Year."
We had a really peaceful and relaxing time during our stay. Siwsan has beautiful cottage, it was our pleasure to have been staying over the New Year period.
The cottage is off the main road but is only a short drive to the local shops. We found it perfect to travel to areas such as Porthmadog.
The cottage itself is perfect, it has a really warm welcoming feel from the minute you open the door. Both bedrooms are good sizes the bedroom off the kitchen has one of the most comfortable beds you will sleep in, other than your own.
The kitchen has copious accessories to use if your are a cook. It also has a dishwasher and washing machine should you wish to use them. The patio doors offer a perfect view of the local area.
The best feature for us was without a doubt the wood burner. This heated the living room and bedroom off it really well. We enjoyed all of our evenings sitting by it eating cheeses and drinking wine!
Siwsan stocked the log supply up each day, this was greatly appreciated!
There was my wife, daughter and myself who stayed here, but the cottage could accommodate another person. We found it could be perfect for any one one wanting a relaxing break away.
We loved it that much after two hours of returning home we booked for a full week this time, we are all looking forward to returning!

"Tranquill, blissful get away and fair price"
The cottage was beautiful, very modern with vintage touches of class here and there. The log burner was my husbands fave pass time, as the wind roared through the cottage he kept the entire cottage warm.
The views were amazing... and my two border collies enoughed the run around.
We visited bedgellet and the castle locally, the fish and chip shop close to were we stayed wasnt much, but asda and morrisons were a 5 minute drive aay to pick up that odd bottle of wine, and sausages for the mornings breakfast.
Everything was spick and span, and the towels smelt lovely and clean.
We can wait to go back, so just waiting for a date to re-book in.
Neil the owner was very helpful, and just left us to our own devices. and he topped up our logs which was really kind.
Cant wait to go back..

"A retreat with all the home comforts"
Really cosy accommodation with logs at the ready for those chilly nights. The cottage is furnished to a high standard as well as having the extra touches of DVDs and books for evenings in. The views are stunning and the location peaceful but within easy reach of beautiful beaches and Snowdon. A greatplace for those who want to walk or cycle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and found the owners very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

"One of the nicest holiday homes I have ever stayed in run by a lovely family"
A lovely clean and warm cottage finished to a very high standard with wonderful views. The warm welcome we received was continued throughout our stay and the local knowledge was a great help. We will be booking to return next year

"Very well equipped cottage with everything you need including the view!"
This 'cosy' cottage says exactly what it says in the brochure which did'nt fail to deliver. As a family of four with two children aged 7 & 11 yrs old the cottage was very clean, and although a little on the small size the facilities and welcome by the owners made it very enjoyable. On arrival we were greeted with fresh eggs and milk and even a drink for the little ones, not forgetting the wine chilling in the fridge. The cottage is situated overlooking the hill side and amazing views on the very few sunny days we managed, even in August. The log burner heats the cottage if you dont want to feed the coin electric metre on those cold nights. (Even in August the wind and rain came down enough to spur us to use the fire!) A good layout of the cottage but perhaps not ideal for families, especially if you need space to fill the rainy days. There are lots of nice personal touches in the cottage and if you like a more remote location then this cottage will be for you. The owners on the adjacent cottage cannot be more helpful and are always around. Young children can play very safely and the drive to the cottage will not fail to take your breath away. Great little place and worth a long weekend or a week.
