Cynlas is a 5 acre smallholding in the top left-hand corner of Wales, just a few miles south of Caernarfon. We are on a hillside with woods, a stream and views over the Irish Sea and Anglesey. We have pigs, chickens and gunea fowl, which are beautiful birds, but a bit noisy ! Its perfectly postioned for an outdoors holiday, very peaceful, great nearby walks, and the chance to feed the animals on the smallholding, if the fancy takes you. Its close to Portmerion, the beach, some great castles at Caernafon, Conway and Beaumauris, and easy access to Anglesey and the Llyn peninsula.

Cynlas Static is an old mobile home it may have seen better days but its cheap but comfortable (in the depths of winter you have to be a bit brave to stay in it)

The Lounge has sofas, a gas fire, a TV with DVD and dining table for 4. If you were squeezing in the sofa could sleep 2

The Kitchen has a fridge, a sink and a gas hob and oven and is equipped for self catering

Shower room has shower, sink and toilet. Towels are provided

The main bedroom has double bed and cupboards while the second bedroom has twin narrow beds suitable for younger children. The beds are all made up

On arrival the static will contain fresh milk, tea and coffee and if the hens are laying, some eggs. Please contact us with any questions

"Cheap, quiet, really close to the nature"

The location is very good and the beds are comfortable. However the walls are really thin so you can hear every step/flushing of the toilet etc. When the weather gets colder it's quite chilly ins… More

Hello, glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet and the views.

Thank you for the feedback about kitchen equipment, we will check it again, and ensure there is sufficient. The furniture outside is a bit old, as we have tried to keep the place simple and as cheap as possible, but we will renew it this winter, ready for next year.

We hope to see you at Cynlas again.

"No frills but fantastic!"

This was perfect for our family of three - remote, picturesque and peaceful. The only sounds are from the piggies, chickens and geese which is great for small children and the sea view is glorious. I… More
