The North Wales region

Nowhere else in Britain will you find such variety, in such a compact area, as you will in Snowdonia - or Eryri as it is known in Welsh. There are many things to do in Snowdonia, so come and enjoy. Snowdonia offers numerous opportunities for those looking to make the most of the fresh mountain air and stunning landscapes of this unique area of Britain. Man has also left his mark on Eryri (Snowdonia) from Neolithic times onwards, leaving behind a rich heritage that is waiting to be explored.

"Poor Quality Accomodation"

The Previous reviews seemed positive and hence had booked the Chalet thinking it would be a great experience. But On reaching the property 1st it took an hour to locate it, after entering no lights as… More

May I take this opputunity to set the record straight. Yes the cabin is for sale but that means that the standard must stay high in order to sell.
The cabin is clean and all linen is washed before each stay by a professional cleaner. The lights had been faulty and where fixed once I was aware. This guest arrived at 4 in the morning distubing other residents and as a result the police where called. The heater mentioned is an extra heat source ontop of the fire in the property. Eventually the huge gas bottle does run out and either my cleaner or a guest informs me of this and I have it replaced. There is no mould on the walls and the smell is the same that tou would expect in any cabin/caravan but is not bad.

Ultimatley this family where after a free weekend away and have threatend me on several occasions since their stay.

Please ignore this and take it as 1 unhappy customer as oppossed to all the others.

Thanks

Martin

"Lovely place to stay"

We visited in August and were lucky enough to have good weather - which is always a bonus! The chalet was clean and comfortable and the park was very scenic. There were large shops within a few minute… More

"Great Location"

We were fortunate to book a long weekend to coincide with the glorious weather so we spent little time in the cabin. However it was clean and comfortable. If we had been staying for longer or in poor weather I think a table and chairs would have been needed, even if it was a fold away one. We had slight problem with sleeping arrangements as once the second bed is up in the twin room there was no room to move, with children this would not be problem but our mums are 87 and 77 respectively, However this is not a complaint I should have checked in more detail! The pool looked lovely and the site is really nice. The area surrounding the park is beautiful with lots to see and do. I would visit again but maybe bring the grandchildren next time! The only negative thing I can say is about the shop on the site, it should not be allowed to call it self a shop, the stock is poor and the opening times even worse, 2 hours a day in the week! Morrisons is a few minutes drive .. thankfully!

"Spotless, comfortable and as described."

I stayed in this chalet with my partner and 2 children (5&11 years) and can safely say it was GREAT! I had no hesitation on arrival about letting the children explore the chalet as it was obviously very well kept and clean. It is as described with no hidden surprises, the children slept soundly in comfort as did I.
Shower was great, kitchen well equipped and lounge area nice to relax in.
Booking was simple.
Glan Gwna itself is brilliant, child friendly and central to lots of different opportunities for exploring North Wales.
My advice....Book it!

Thanks Michelle, Glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to help you again in the future.

"Spotless, comfy, Value for money, great site. great time!"

I saw this cabin on line on Monday, Spoke to Martin (the owner) Monday evening. Paid for it Tuesday, got keys Wednesday, arrived Saturday! Now thats the way to do it!
Everything was great, Hopefully we will return when the sun is shining! But Grandsons (ages 9 and 7) were in the "heated" pool. It wasn't heated enough for me! We took our beloved standard poodle with us, he was also made to feel very welcome. Would recommend this to all friends and family.

Thanks very much for your kind words and we are glad you stayed in our holiday home. Welcome back anytime, dog and all. Martin
