Within striking distance of the Caen Ferry Port, this is a well-appointed, contemporary apartment in the centre of the traditional seaside village of Lion-sur-Mer . Only 100 metres from the famous Sword Beach where British Troops fought in the D-Day landings, a sandy beach that stretches for miles.
An excellent boulangerie and patisserie, French cafés, brasseries, a selection of restaurants, traditional shops, post office with cashpoint and a supermarket are all within walking distance. There is a weekly market on Thursdays and weekly night market during summer time.

The Normandy / Calvados region
The summer months are characterised by long warm lazy days with temperatures over 4 degrees warmer than the south coast of England. It can become very hot and temperatures in the mid 30s are not uncommon. Away from summer the weather can still be warm and pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lion-sur-Mer and loved your apartment. It was very tastefully furnished and a had a brand-new feel. The kitchen included everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfortable. The location was fabulous - we loved the old town charm combined with modern comforts.
We very much enjoyed our stay in the lovely apartment in Lion Sur Mer. We found everything we needed - all to a very high standard, and some great extras like the DVDs which our daughters in particular were very happy with
The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way, not only because it was very well furnished but the location is just fantastic. It really is a brilliant combination of a superb location and excellent standard of fittings
