About this location
The Cornwall region
We are based in the most southerly region of the British Isles. Helston is the nearest town but Falmouth , Penzance ,St Ives and Truro are all within an hours drive.
There is so much to see and do you won`t do it in one holiday.
The Lizard peninsular is very special.formed almost entirely of serpentine rock its rugged coastline on one side and little fishing villages and cosy coves on the other not to forget the Helford river with its hidden creeks and lush valleys. Wonderful tropical gardens to explore, and of course the south west coast path which is within walking distance from the cottages.

"Cosy, well presented and clean but where was the 'private garden' ?"
Cosy Cottage is just as the name suggests: small and comfortable but not too cramped. The interior is well designed and equipped and beautifully presented. Our main disappointment was the 'privat… More

"Wellspring Cottage is very comfortable and great value."
We very much enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, welcoming and beautifully located cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the cream tea provided on arrival was delicious. Nearby are a multitude of beautiful and interesting places to visit on the Lizard penninsula. This rental and the locality are very dog-friendly.

"Cream Tea in the sun, what could be better!"
On our arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome from both Liz & Mike. We were soon sat down in their lovely cafe on site having one of their clotted cream teas, and it was sunny.! Cosy Cottage suited our needs perfectly both location wise and for local amenities. We booked Cosy Cottage based on the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed, although small (which we knew already, that's why its called Cosy Cottage) we fitted in fine. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Liz recommended The Cadgwith Cove Tuesday evening Folk night. She very kindly booked a table and we had a great night. I've already recommended this to a friend. Thank you both, we will be back!

"Cosy Cottage lives up to its name"
This was our first winter visit to Mike and Liz's "Little Trethvas Farm", and also our first to Cosy Cottage. We already knew how lovely the grounds are in spring and summer, with so many wild flowers and garden blooms, but hadn't experienced winter here yet. What a surprise was in store! In spite of the February gales that hit the coast and the headlines, we had an amazing time and everything we needed for a perfect break for two. As usual, Mike and Liz gave us such a warm welcome; they have furnished and fitted out this intimately cosy little cottage with obvious flair for choosing the designs, colours and furnishings that combine the modern with the homely and cheerful. The new kitchen has quality equipment; we had all the heating and hot water we needed (lovely shower!) and the kingsize bed was very comfy. It was great to relax in cosy armchairs by the fire when the storms blew past; and when they stopped, a treat to enjoy the sunshine through the cottage's south-facing windows. I like the view of the grounds - just the right blend of landscaping and country fields. With the Lizard Point being such a short drive away, we were able to enjoy coast path walks and visit coves and bays during the sunny spells, of which - to our surprise - there were plenty. We hardly had time to watch TV! There is plenty of info in the cottage on places to visit, and if asked, Mike and Liz provide plenty more local information of all kinds. We will certainly come again to Cosy Cottage.

"Love to be there always."
We had a lovely time at the cosy cottage. It was so cosy, excellent as the name says. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with places of interests and made us feel homely. We would definitely go back there. Thank you Mike and Liz.

I was greeted with a very warm welcome by Mike and Liz and Cosy Cottage had everything I needed and more! An extremely comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a steaming hot shower all contributed to a very pleasant stay.
I will most definitely be recommending Cosy Cottage to friends and family.

"Lovely little cottage, ideal central position for the lizard"
The cottage was 'cosy' as described but it was perfect just for the two of us (and our dog) and in a great central location to explore the Lizard,
Nothing was too much trouble for Liz and Mike and their welcome, knowledge and advice about the area made the holiday for us.
We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to our friends.
