The West Country region
The Lizard peninsula is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The climate is mild and frost and snow is rare.
Not far away you can see lots of Cornwall's attractions - St Michaels's Mount, Eden Project, Minack Theatre together with the gorgeous towns of St Ives, Penzance, Falmouth, Truro - so when/if you have had enough of our long sandy beaches and beautiful cliff walks there is so much to see and do.
Cadgwith Cove and the surrounding villages offer lots of summer activities - barbeques, regattas, carnivals - there is always something for everyone. In Cadgwith there are sea shanties in the local pub on a Friday evening as well as folk singing on a Tuesday.
