The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca or "white coast" is situated to the north and Costa Del Sol in the south, and is within the region of Valencia with the warm Mediterranean on its shores.
This region of Spain has an average of 320 sunny days per year and excellent all year round temperatures. Together with the inexpensive flights to either one of its airports, Alicante or Murcia, this area of Spain is fast becoming Europe’s most popular golfing and beach holiday destination. The attractive sea front is a string of secluded inlets, beaches of golden sand, well-cared for residential districts and two quiet marinas. From the north to the south a lively inlet and an open beach, both with full facilities and a well-cared for promenade, are followed by a series of small inlets with clear waters ideal for diving.
Cabo Roig area
Torrevieja is located south of Alicante next to the crystal clear waters of Spain's Costa Blanca and surrounded by two large natural saltwater lakes. It is 47 km from Alicante, the provisional capital, and 35 km form the airport "El Altet".
The beaches are not the only attraction the area has to offer, as in addition there are three 18 hole Golf Courses (Real Club de Golf de Campoamor, Club de Golf Las Ramblas and Club de Golf Villamartin) within a radius of 3 km, all three are excellent golf courses of international prestige. There are numerous restaurants that provide cuisine for all tastes, from traditional Spanish Tapas to the delights of Italian, French, Chinese, Indian and Mexican food.
With its warm climate, friendly people and countless amenities Torrevieja makes the perfect location for a holiday.
Each month Torrevieja celebrates a different Festival, or 'Fiesta' with a riot of colour, tradition, music and dance, including 'la Habanera' a special rejoicing of Torrevieja's sailing history and early salt trade days with Cuba. 'Ancient tower' is its translation and it is on the north side of the town overlooking the sea with recently restored gardens.
Local to Torrevieja are two large natural saltwater lagoons, known as "las Salinas", the largest in Europe. The concentration of salt in these picturesque lagoons helps to draw the moisture out of the air. This, combined with the very low annual rainfall, creates the unique microclimate with low humidity. With most days being sunny, and with an average temp of 18 degrees centigrade, make this area ideal for sufferers of rheumatism, arthritis and asthma.
Cabo Roig is in the area of Orihuela Costa, is 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja and is on the a main bus and taxi route. It has a very multi-cultural feel as many people from other countries now live in this area and actually outnumber the Spaniards! This area is a favourite for British and Irish ex-pats. Consequently, the shops, bars and restaurants in this area originate from many nationalities to provide food to suit all tastes - from the native Spanish to Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Argentinean, Hungarian, Mexican cuisine, etc.
Less than 15 minutes walk to the main coast road, the N332, where you will find numerous bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc, and a bus stop into Torrevieja town and beyond.
There is a popular market on every Saturday morning in a wide road in Playa Flamenca.

We recommend a car to get the best out of any area but if all you want to do is relax, take in the sun and have meal and a drink in the evening, either in the property or in the nearby commercial centres, it is not essential due to the numerous facilities within walking distance.

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. A €100 non-refundale deposit is required within 7 days of booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. Change-over day is usually Saturday but we can be flexible. Prices for short or longer stays are available on application.
The price quoted is fully inclusive.Towels are provided but guests are asked to bring beach towels. A security deposit of €50 euros is required which will be returned to you on inspection of the property prior to leaving. There is a charge of €35 euros for cleaning which is payable locally. Airport transfers can be arranged from Alicante or Murcia at a cost of €40 euros payable locally and can be arranged at time of booking.
