The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
This coastline benefits from somewhat of a micro-climate and we are fortunate to have sunny days all year round. The area boasts something for everyone whether it be golf, sea-fishing, para-gliding, jet-skiing or a more sedentary type of activity, this is the place to be. Horseriding, quad-biking, organised walks are all close at hand. Alternatively, what a wonderful place to be to just chill and relax on the beach or poolside with a cool beer of glass of wine.
There are many Golf Courses in the immediate area for those of you who enjoy the challenge that golf offers, four of which are within 15 minutes drive. Campoamor Golf, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin Courses are just ten minutes away and the famous La Manga Club is just 40 minutes drive. Set amid rolling hills and olive trees, you will be spoiled for choice if golf is your game. Why not finish off with a delicious meal in the Clubhouse with fantastic views of the Mediterranean and surrounding countryside.
Always popular with the children is the famous 'Terra Mitica' Theme Park - the Costa Blanca's equivalent (only better) to Alton Towers - just 40 minutes away by car on the outskirts of Benidorm.

Cabo Roig area
The area is awash with things to do and places to visit. Children love water and you will find the Water Parks of Quesada and Torrevieja easily accessible. Many local beaches have climbing frames and mini-parks for children to play on. For the adults, most beaches offer beach-bar facilites in high season serving ice-cold drinks and snacks.
The Mud Baths of San Pedro del Pinatar with their therapeutic properties always prove popular with guests and are just 15 minutes away by car.
Casa la Pedrera featured on 'Grand Designs Abroad' is 25 minutes away and offers quad-biking, horseriding, water skiing and more. Set on the lakeside in spectacular countryside, this is the ideal venue for a half-day or full-day excursion.
Castilo de Conesa in San Miguel de Salinas just 20 minutes drive is well worth a visit. A beautiful castle in a stunning setting with lake and waterfalls - for just a drink or a meal - is a must. Advisable to book though if you are going to eat as they get very busy particularly in the summer months.
If you are fortunate to visit the area when Fiestas are happening, you can be sure to have a wonderful time!
