We invite you to share our second home and enjoy the beautiful area and climate of the Alicante region. Situated in a gated community, the house is fully furnished with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning, private garden with patio dining areas, a large roof terrace and a balcony off the main bedroom overlooking the pool. It is located within walking distance of beaches, bars and restaurants and is only 5 minutes drive from 3 top championship golf courses.

You may just want to lounge around in the garden or by one of the pools set within the landscaped grounds of this quiet and friendly community, or if you want a more active holiday there are many attractions, not just for golfers, and some attractive coastal walks.

Bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. Ground floor bathroom with toilet and wash basin.

Fully equipped kitchen includes oven and hob, fridge/ freezer, microwave, washing machine, toaster, kettle and iron.

Lounge/diner has two sofas, dining table, wall unit & coffee table. Satellite TV (English TV) & DVD player. There are games available in the house e.g. cards, dominoes. There is air-conditioning (with heating option in winter) in the living room and the master bedroom. All rooms have a ceiling fan.

A travel cot/ high chair are available.

Towels and linen are included, but please bring your own beach towels.

The Valenciana region

The Costa Blanca has “more than 218 kilometres of coast full of beaches (32 Blue Flags) with calm water and soft sand; 2800 hours of sunshine a year, a privileged climate and a gentle sea.” Alicante Province is the second most mountainous area in Spain; to the north covered by oaks, pines, carob trees and perfumed by a great variety of aromatic plants while in the south the mountains disappear, giving way to palm, orange and lemon plantations.

The territory is full of archaeological sites, having been inhabited for thousands of years by Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans and Arabs, who have all left their mark.

On the coast or in the interior you can discover the varied gastronomy and quality of the wines. Visit the small towns hidden behind the mountains or the more modern and lively ones on the coast, which offer the visitor a very intensive night life.

There are numerous marinas and many facilities and watersports all along the coast for enjoying the sea. Golf lovers are spoilt for choice with the many top quality courses within 45 mins drive of the house.

From bustling Benidorm, in the north, (about an hours drive) with it's bars, beaches, theme parks and great tapas bars in the 'Old Town’ down to the Mar Menor with numerous very Spanish resorts, there is a great variety of places to visit and things to do. Calpe boasts some of the finest fish restaurants anywhere.

Alicante boasts a castle, museums, a great marina and some fantastic restaurants. Murcia, Elx (Elche) have some lovely old monuments and churches and Cartagena & Orihuela have their own Cathedrals and many other buildings worth a visit. The area supports a wide range of wildlife. The salt marshes of Alicante and the salt lake of Torrevieja are a birdwatcher's paradise particularly the thousands of pink flamingos which thrive on the lakes.

If you don't have transport, free trips can be booked at one of the many local markets to some of the region's attractions such as the mountain village of Guadalest or the waterfalls of Algar.

Cabo Roig

Situated on the southern end of the Costa Blanca, bordering the Costa Calida, the Orihuela Costa has 16 Km of coast which alternates between cliffs with transparent waters and prestigious beaches of fine sand, notably Cabo Roig, La Zenia & Campoamor, all within easy walking distance of the house.

Besides golf there are many other activities near the house such as go-karting, bicycle hire, tennis, water-sports, aqua park and horse riding.

A cheap bus ride will take you into Torrevieja, the nearest big town, with its large marina, fun fair, promenade (a must see from early evening with street artists and stalls), a harbour walk and many bars, shops and restaurants. Further details are in the house.

"super"

Super rental everything as advertised and mick was easy to reach if needed . location is great close to bars and restaurants 5 min strool and 10 min to beach would gladly rent again… More

"Great place to stay"

We stayed here the beginning of July and were very impressed with the townhouse,. It was clean and tidy and the location was ideal. There was a small front garden and a bigger back garden which were both very private.and ideal for sunbathing. There was also a balcony off the frontt bedroom which overlooked the pool. The communal,swimming pool was just a few steps from the front door and we found it to be very quiet in the morning. The nearest beach was about 15 minutes walk away. The strip containing numerous bars and restaurants was only about 5 minutes walk away. You wouldn't require to have a car but we did hire one. There is lots to do round about - the water park at Torrevieja, gokarting at San Javier, the mud baths at Lo Pagan, big shopping centre at La Zenia. Overall I would highly recommend the property and wouldn't hesitate in returning. Mike proved to be very helpful and prompt in answering my questions.

"Lovely holiday"

We had a really nice holiday in Suenos. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially liked the fact that the house had gardens front and back so you could sit in the sun or shade at any time of the day. Despite the fact that the weather was very hot the house did keep nice and cool and we only needed to use the air con in the bedroom for a few minutes each night. The complex itself was nice, the gardens very well kept and the swimming pool clean. There are plenty of restaurants within 5 to 10
minutes walk on the Cabo Roig strip and some more 10 mins in the opposite
direction. There are 3 supermarkets 10 to 15 mins walk away. The provision of a shopping trolley in the house was very useful saving us having to carry shopping back to the house as we prefer not to have a car. The beach is about 10 mins walk away and was very nice although a bit crowded. Overall we had a very good holiday in a lovely house.

"A great house in a perfect location"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ay Suenos this year. If you are looking for a holiday with all the mod-cons of home but with the added benefits of the Spanish sunshine, a pool on your doorstep, bars & restaurants only a few 100 metres away and a fabulous beach within walking distance then look no further. The complex itself is safe, clean and well maintained and accessable only to guests. Cabo Roig is lively enough without being too crazy and La Zenia is only a short distance away if you fancy something a bit more low key. A word of warning though - don't attempt to use inflatables in the pool or you will face the Wrath of the Residents Association!

"Everything was perfect"

We had no problems with this house, the location was perfect on a small quiet friendly community. The front of the house and bedroom balcony had the morning sun whilst the back garden had the sun in the evening until very late. The pool area was quiet and so close to the house, everything was great. Beach was approx 10 minutes walk and the house is within 5 minutes of the Cabo Roig strip. Would definately recommend a stay here, the only problem was the week finished too quickly!
