The Costa Blanca/Valencia region

The Costa Blanca runs along the east coast of Spain and enjoys lovely weather, with mild winters and warm summers that do not get as humid as they do on the Costa del Sol. The fantastic climate attracts many tourists, it is an especially desirable location in the winter when there are nearly as many sunny days as in the summer.

There is over 100km of sandy beaches, many of which have been awarded the European Blue Flag as a sign of their cleanliness and safety. The northern area is mountainous, with plenty of coves and pebble beaches to explore, and throughout the inland region are charming villages that are well worth a visit. This region is simply a wonderful place in which to enjoy life (as we should do but often don't) and feel rejuvenated and refreshed.

Visit the Costa Blanca - you will love it.

"terrible holiday"

where do i begin?when we arrived we were asked to pay 100euros from the agents for cleaning we had not been informed of this when talking to owner.luckily there were only 2 of us as the smaller bathroom we could not use due to the sewer like smell which was constantly there .there was no extractor fan we had read the previous review re the open air cinema right beside the villa and were very concerned about the noise we contacted the owner who inappropriately informed this would not be an issue as it did not start untill the mid to end of july.we arrived on the 27june and it commenced on the 30th july .we left on the 19th july and the noise every night was horrendous.when .we contacted the owner who implied we were looking a free holiday.the other hidden cost was the air con which is listed as a facility but it does not state it has to be paid for via a meter on the holiday lettings listing

"Great holiday overall"

This villa is equipped with all that you need whilst on holiday, it had been cleaned to a high standard and the property managers were very accommodating. The pool was a good size and maintained well. Feedback to the owner and managers would be to keep up with maintenance, dodgy bathroom door locks and dodgy house alarm could have been fixed. The 4th bedroom should be advertised more clearly as a room with only external access to it, so I would say not suitable for children. This room also didn't have air con whereas the description of the villa states fully air con'd. FInal piece missing from description is the fact it is next door to an open air cinema which runs each evening from 9:45pm to 2am. It is loud but if you get your music playing and either have a mid night swim (or water fight as we did!) then you really start to not notice it. It can be heard inside villa but bedrooms are on other side of villa so it's not too intrusive for kids to be going to sleep. You really do not need a car, everything is in walking distance whether it is supermarket, bars, restaurants and beaches. If you are not into busy bar evenings, don't let the strip put you off there are some very good restaurants. Puccinnis in particular is good, just look out for the vouchers it can save you a lot of money. I have only rated the villa average because I believe the current costs are over inflated bearing in mind my comments.
