About the home

Within walking distance of beaches, bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes drive from 3 top championship golf courses, Casa Danjon is ideally positioned for an active holiday. However, perhaps just lazing around one of the two swimming pools may be your preference.

Whilst the house is decorated beautifully inside, the sunshine tempts you out most of the time. With a front garden, rear patio, a balcony off the main bedroom and a roof terrace (all with garden/patio furniture) options for outdoor dining or just settling down with a drink are endless.  We have air conditioning for your comfort; essential in the heat of the summer

There is a fantastic range of restaurants and bars Chinese, Indian, Italian, Belgian, Mexican, English and of course Spanish restaurant's are numerous. The area is a golfers paradise. Only a five minute drive from Casa Danjon are the three superb championship golf courses; Villamartín, Las Ramblas and Campoamor. The coastal walk past Cabo Roig harbour to La Zenia Beach is great at any time of the day and one of many nice walks in the area.

Our aim is to attract visitors who like the luxuries in life. Rather that the cheaper Spanish Pine furniture favoured in many properties we have furnished the house with top quality furniture that matches throughout the whole of the house.

The two bedrooms each contain 2 high quality, 3 foot wide beds that can be joined together to make 6 foot, super kingsize doubles.

Casa Danjon can accommodate 2 further people (making 6 in total) with the large 3 cushion sofa which contains a metal sprung bed. There is also a matching 2 seater sofa.

The house has a tiled front garden and a secluded rear terrace each with patio furniture.
There is a balcony off the main bedroom with a small table and a sun terrace on the roof with top quality sunbeds.

Early morning Campoamor Beach

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blance really does have something for everyone. With probably the best selection of beaches anywhere in Spain (and 5 of these within walking distance of Casa Danjon) it is the perfect destination for that beach holiday. However, the area is also an extremely rich tapestry of history, culture, sports and entertainment.

From bustling Benidorm, in the north, (about an hours drive from Casa Danjon) with it's bars, theme parks and great Tapas bars in the 'Old Town down to the Mar Menor with numerous very Spanish resorts, there is a great variety of places to visit and things to do. Alicante boasts a castle, museums, a great marina and some fantantic restaurants. Murcia, Elx (Elche) has some lovely old monuments and churches and Cartagena & Orihuela have their own Cathedrals.

The area supports a wide range of wildlife. The salt marshes of Alicante and the salt lake of Torrevieja is a birdwatchers paradise; a great sight is the thousands of pink flamingo's which thrive on the lakes.

The area is very popular with watersport lovers and is a golfers paradise with over 20 top quality golf courses within a 45 minute drive. Campoamor, Villamartin and La Ramblas golf courses are only a 5 minute drive from Casa Danjon

The Cabo Roig area

Cabo Roig is the jewel in the crown of the whole area. With the lovely coastal walk giving access to numerous beaches with the nearest, Cabo Roig Beach and harbour being only a few minutes walk from Casa Danjon.

There is an unbeatable variety of bars and restaurants just 2 minutes walk from the house including Italian, Indian, Mexican, French, Hungarian, Irish, Chinese, English, Japanese and of course numerous traditional Spanish restaurants and tapas bars.

The waterpark in Torrevieja (10 minutes drive) is great fun and the olympic size pool and wide open grassed areas of the Orihuela Costa Club are well worth a stroll to.

“Great Winter holiday” My husband and I spent a lovely week at Casa Danone in Cabo Roig over the New Year period. The townhouse was lovely and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. The gated complex was very well looked after and very clean with a lovely pool (too cold in December) and beautiful gardens. Obviously there was less open at this time of year, however, you did get to know the local people better than going in the Summer. We spent most evenings in the Bog Road, Irish Bar and had the best New Year ever thanks to Jim and all his family who made us feel very welcome. The days were very sun and warm. We did all the beach walks, although the nights were chilly. We loved it in Cabo Roig and plan to return in the Summer. We would like to thank Pete for renting us his lovely home and making our booking and transfers so easy and all the staff and regulars at the Bog Road for making us so welcome.
