La Joya is a beautifully furnished spanish house which is close enough to walk to local beaches, restaurants, bars and shops but in a peaceful and relaxing small community. It suits all ages and groups (young couples, families, older couples) as there really is something for everyone. If you wish to get away from it all you can stroll along the wide, open promenade and take in the breathtaking sea views. For those who want a little more entertainment, Cabo Roig offers numerous different styles of restaurants and bars.

There is a downstairs cloackroom consisting of a toilet and washbasin in addition to the family bathroom. There is a large table for eating meals outside with 6 chairs. There are 4 sun loungers provided and on the balcony that leads from the master bedroom there is a small table and 2 chairs. Perfect for a glass of wine before retiring for the night, or for eating breakfast in the early morning sun! For families with babies / toddlers we have all manner of 'baby things' e.g. highchair, bed guard, travel cot with bedding, microwave steriliser.

Plenty of parking is available outside the gates to the community. The house has a small private front garden and a large private patio outside the back door. There is a balcony with a sea view from the master bedroom. There is also a roof solarium with great sea views.
There is a local contact (English speaking) in the resort who is on hand if you have any questions/queries. He can arrange airport transfers and is responsible for the appearance and cleanliness of the house on arrival. He will show you around the property and ensure the hot water is switched on prior to your arrival. On the day you are leaving, the house is usually available right up until you leave for the airport, meaning you get to enjoy every last minute of your holiday. The local contact will be able to confirm this when he meets you at the house. (The only time this may not be the case is if someone is arriving at the house on the day you leave. In those circumstances you may need to make the house available for the cleaners to do their job but you can still sit in the garden or around the pool or go for something to eat and your bags will be safe left at the property.) Strictly no smoking anywhere in the property.
£50 will secure your booking, with the balance to be paid six weeks prior to your stay. In addition to paying the balance, we ask for a refundable breakages deposit of £100 which will be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). This breakages deposit will not be affected by bits of broken crockery or glasses - the floors are tiled so if you drop a cup it'll certainly break! It is in case of carelessness or wilful damage resulting in us needing to replace expensive items or redecorating.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is deemed as 'one of the healthiest places to live' thanks to its scarce rainfall and lovely dry climate.
The area has modern bars restaurants and shops and is an ideal area for relaxing family holidays. For the more active there are several championship golf courses only 10 minutes’ drive away. If you want a more relaxed holiday, the area is surrounded in history and culture.
The Cabo Roig / Agua Marina area
The prestigious Cabo Roig area is a municipal district of Orihuela, which is a town in the province of Alicante. It is situated 10 kilometres south of Torrevieja. Cabo Roig is just a short 2½ hour flight from the UK and is easily serviced by 2 major airports; Alicante and Murcia. The transfer time from Alicante airport is 40 minutes, whilst Murcia airport is just 20 minutes away.

Fly to either Murcia airport or Alicante airport. Plently of low cost airlines service both airports making it easy to shop around and find the cheapest flights available. (Jet 2, Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch etc). The house is 40 minutes' drive from Alicante airport and 20 minutes from Murcia. Both airports have planty of hire car companies to choose from, or alternatively a driver and car can meet you at either airport. He charges 40 euros to transfer you to/from Alicante airport and 30 euros to transfer you to/from Murcia airport.
