About the home

Royal Park Spa Resort is set in an exclusive secure gated complex with beautiful gardens and pagoda, located in a peaceful area near to many amenities.

This stunning well appointed south-east facing apartment is decorated to a high standard with a contemporary theme. You can enjoy the sun all day from sunrise until sunset on any of its 2 balcony terraces or rooftop solarium where you can enjoy coastal views of the Mediteranean sea.
The apartment is on three levels. Downstairs is the living and dining area, and outdoor terrace, kitchen/utility room, WC cloak room. Stylish marble stairways lead up to the 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a further stairway leads up to the roof top solarium.

The on site Wellness Zone offers an Indoor heated hydrotherapy pool with its massage jets, jacquisi beds , two saunas, hydromassage cabins, gym and thermal beds, changing rooms and showers.

The outdoor pool has showers, a whirlpool, a shallow area for young children and parasols for shade

This is an excellent place to relax and unwind and the perfect retreat if you want to get away from it all.

The area is a paradise for golfers with numerous world famous golf courses, such as Las Ramblas, La Finca and Campoamor Golf club being the nearest, only five minutes drive away or 15 minutes walk and there are three other well known golf courses around the area, such as Villermartin and slightly further afield is La Manga.

The local area has five beautiful EEC blue flagged beaches,which are cleaned daily, including La Zenia, Campoamor, Cabo Roig, Cala Capitan, La Glea and there are many smaller beaches along the coastline. There are excellent restaurants overlooking both Cabo Roig and Campoamor Marina, a maritime walk along the cliffs for walkers, and beach bars where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, listen to good music and cool down.

About a 15 minute drive is the town of Torrevieja which has an abundance of shops, craft stalls & restaurants overlooking lovely beaches and a promenade. The Marina at Torrevieja has good restaurants and bars.

Whether you are looking for endless days relaxing on the beach or at the pool, golfing, walking or for the more energetic there is lots of lively nightlife to be found, at Royal Park there is something for everyone!

Spacious 80 sqm apartment on three levels has all modern amenities. Living room area has 37 inch flat screen TV with Torresat TV, dinniing area has extendable dinning table, outside terrace has seated area overlooking outdoor pool, Main bedroom has large outdoor terrace overlooking pool and smaller Juliet balcony overlooking walkway. The roof top solarium terrace is spacious and has views of the coastline and surrounding area and is ideal for sunbathing and enjoying a sunset drink. The fully equipped modern kitchen and utility room also has a filtered water system.
The complex itself has a unique underground Wellness Zone with heated indoor pool with many water jets, jacuzzi beds, hydromassage cabins, Swedish and Finnish saunas, thermal beds, well equipped gym, thermal foot walkway and massage stones, changing rooms and WCs.

Further details outdoors:
The exterior of the complex has Palm tree lined roads, with gardens, walkways leading to other nearby areas, an all weather pitch, a running track and children's playground.
A short walk away is the local commercial centre which has good local pubs with entertainment, excellent rooftop restaurants such as Indian cuisine, Chinese and Persian.
Excellent EEC Blue Flag beaches such as La Zenia, Cala Capitan, Cabo Roig and Campoamore's La Glea beach are within 20 minutes walking distance, there are also local buses that go to the beach and have various stops at the resort. All of th beaches have beach bars or restaurants, the beach bars stay open to the early hours during the summer months.
There are three main golf courses within five to ten minutes drive of the property, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor, a little further are the courses of Roda and La Manga.
A five minute drive away is the famous 'strip' of Cabo Roig, where excellent restaurants and night life can be found.
The town of Torrevieja is a 15 minute drive away, has a very traditionaly Spanish atmospher and boasts lively night life with good nightclubs for the more energetic, a good Cuban club for those who enjoy the latin salsa can also be found.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Cabo Roig is one of the most exclusive developments along the Costa Blanca with its stunning cliff walks, many natural beauty spots and a well served picturesque marina with its historic watchtower, it also boasts top class bars and night life on it's well known 'strip'.

The area's salt lakes which are the largest in Europe and second in the world serve to draw moisture from the air and create a unique and delightful micro climate, which is said to be one of the most healthiest places to live in Europe, and very beneficial for people with rhumatic problems. The area boasts over 300 sunny days and only 30 days of rain per year.

The historic town of Cartagena is well worth a visit, it is nestled around a large natural harbour, where boat trips can be taken. You could eat in one of the many tapas bars, or see the Roman amphi theatre or just wonder along the shopping street and visit the designer shops. The town of Murcia also has many interesting historic building and shops.

The Cabo Roig / Lomas de Cabo Roig area

There are many local activities for all the family, including go-karting, horse riding, scuba diving and sea fishing. Close by is the Orihuela Costa Resort leisure complex with its superb facilities including large pool, tennis courts, gymnasium and sauna, bars and restaurant.

There are various markets in the area, the famous Saturday market in Playa Flamenca is not to be missed, this is whithin walking distance from the apartment, nearby local pubs have entertainment on during Saturday afternoon and excellent food where you can take a well earned rest and lunch after your shopping trip and the Friday market in Torrevieja is one of the largest in Spain.

Coach tours can be taken from the area to many other famous attractions, such as Los Altos, Benidorm and its Water park which is one hour away plus many more, details of which can be found in the apartment. The famous 'blanket tours' are also in operation throughout the year.

There are many religious festivals in the town of Torrevieja throughout the year, the main one being the Three Kings festival in January. The Christmas nativity in the centre of Torrevieja is not to be missed for visitors during December.

The Habaneras leisure and shopping centre near Torrevieja has shops such as C&A, H&M, a Casino and an abundance of restaurants. Very near to the apartment is the award winning Edwardo's La Finca restaurant.

Boat trips can be taken from the port in Torrevieja along the coast and daily to the beautiful tranquil and historic Isle of Tabarc, which is well known for its snorkelling.

Just to let you know we loved your apartment and the complex especially the pool area, everywhere was lovely and clean and the apartment was furnished to a high standard, we would love to return next year. I only wish we had booked two weeks rather than one.

Extra nights at £50 per night..

We accept cheques payable in advance, bank transfer in UK or Spain. We also accept the euro equivalent of price in pounds.

We accept part holding deposit cheques or bank transfer and remaining balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date.

There is an additional cleaning cost which is payable locally on arrival at key handover - 50 Euros.

Chang-over day is normally after 3.30 pm and departure is by 10.00 am, but can be flexible.

A refundable breakages / Spa key deposit is required, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

36 euros worth of electricity per week is included in the price, which is around average consumption.
