Cabo de Palos is a lovely traditional Spanish fishing village The harbour has wonderful seafood restaurants and a fabulous atmosphere. Cabo de Palos has a lighthouse and is a small peninsular extending into the Mediterranean. The Sunday market at Cabo is one of the biggest in the area. The beaches are soft and sandy, in places there are small coves, but on the other side of the peninsular they are long and wide. There is a great Chinese restaurant, beach café bars, cocktail bars

New courses at Polaris World should be open in 2007.
Less than 5 minutes drive away or a short taxi ride as is the small Spanish town of Los Belones which also has several excellent restaurants and bars.
The historic cities of Cartagena, (20 minutes ) drive and Murcia (50 minutes ) are easily accessible if a car is hired. Local transport will also take you to these locations.
