Home description

Conceicao de Tavira is situated just 15 minutes walk from the beautiful waterfront at Cabanas where you can enjoy one of the Algarves most beautiful beaches, lot of bars and some excellent restaurants. Access to the beach on Cabanas Island is by water taxi which makes this very exciting for children. A short walk away is the centre of Conceicao village which offers a local supermarket, butcher, cafes and a popular local restaurant. The railway station is nearby as well and offers train access to strategic stations along the Eastern Algarve including Tavira, Vila Real & Faro.

Tavira is a short 10 minute drive away or by local taxis which are inexpensive (approx 10 euros). In Tavira you can enjoy a historic and very original river front town with many historic buildings, several more bars, many fine restaurants and local shopping. Tavira restaurants are famous for their fresh fish dishes.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

Eastern Algarve has become very popular with tourists. It is noted for it's beautiful Golf Courses and beaches.
Also famous for it's mouth watering fish dishes. The town of Tavira has a beautiful historic feeling to it.

Popular excursions to all the Algarve's top water parks, Zoo-marine, plus special boat trips, jeep safaris and coach trips to the beautiful Spanish city of Seville can easily be arranged and ticketed locally by our local Management team. The entire coastline of the Eastern Algarve is a protected wildlife sanctuary and a wonderful place to explore. The pace of life is very relaxed and the prices in restaurants and cafes are much cheaper than the more established tourism areas in the Central and Western Algarve.


Cabanas de Tavira / Conceicao de Tavira area

Cabanas beach has its own beach bars and a restaurant and offers a lifeguard station with first aid, plus shower, changing rooms and toilet facilities. Nearby the area offers some outstanding golf courses - Just 5 minutes walk away is Benamor Golf Course which is very friendly and offers excellent practice facilities and a charming clubhouse.

Also nearby is Quinta da Ria golf course which offers two championship courses - Ria & Cima and a 25 minute drive away is the No.1 course in the Algarve, Monte Rei Golf Club which was designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus.

There are numerous local beauty spots to explore by car, cycle, train, foot or boat. The local railway offers direct connections to the main shopping area at Faro. There are local markets at Tavira, Vila Real and Faro.


How to get there

Several budget airlines fly to Faro. e.g. Ryan Air, Monarc. Car hire can be found at Faro airport or in Cabannas.

Spacious lounge with Patio doors leading onto the balcony with views of the pool. Two sofa's, one which pulls out into a bed. Table and chairs plus TV.

Fitted kitchen with all the necessary utensils provided.

Utility room leads from the kitchen where you will find the washing machine and air-conditioning unit.

Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and lots of storage space. There are balconies off each room.

Main bedroom has an en-suite and there is a separate guest bathroom with shower cubical, wc and wash hand basin.

Further details outdoors:
Good sized swimming pool with toddlers section. There are showers along the side and also a security gate so only residents can use the pool.

Landscaped gardens to the side. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Please note: Anyone using facilities outside the apartment do so at their own risk.

The main entrance is controlled via an intercom system. All windows have shutters and there is a multi locking system on the front door of the apartment.

There is a weekly cleaning and laundry service.


Conditions

There is a no smoking policy. Also no pets allowed (except guide dogs).

25% non-refundable deposited required at the time of booking and balance to be paid 6 weeks before your stay.
