About the home

The villa is a beautiful two storey white detached three bedroom property with a roof top terrace.
It has its own plunge pool with Jacuzzi.

The contemporary décor of the villa has been carefully chosen to be visually striking while retaining maximum comfort.

There are three bathrooms, two on the first floor and one on the ground floor, so there will be no problem getting ready for the evening.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and there are two single beds in each of the other 2 bedrooms. If you need more space the living room has a sofa bed so the villa can comfortably fit six to eight people.

A spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace, where you can sunbathe and relax in total privacy.

All in all the villa has everything you could want whether your coming with your family, your golf buddies or even a romantic week away.

The villa includes everything you need for a self catering holiday whether it be an ironing board, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave or fridge and if you don't feel like leaving the villa kick back and enjoy a spot of satellite TV on our flat screen.
If you’re hiring a car the security isn't an issue with secure private parking at the front of the building.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

One of the best kept secrets of the Portuguese Algarve is the traditional and picturesque fishing village of Cabanas. Cabanas is just east of Tavira and is still relatively free of mass tourism, with only a limited amount of holiday accommodation among their small white square-stone houses. It's a good place to getaway from the crowds and for anyone wanting to enjoy a quiet swim in the beautiful blue lagoon.

Cabanas is a relatively recent addition to the brochures of tour operators which means that so far is has been unspoilt by mass commercialised tourism and it still maintains a feeling of the sleepy little fishing village it once was. If you walk down to the seafront you can still see an array of coloured fishing boats with the fishermen delicately tending to there daily catch.The seafood in Cabanas is some of the best in southern Portugal, with the locals still passionate about recipes and traditions that have stood them well for generations.

The surrounding landscape is the beautiful Ria Formosa natural park, this ensures that the authenticity and beauty of the region will be preserved for now and into the future.

One of the strongest reasons for visiting Cabanas is its beautiful beach 'Praia de Cabanas' which is located on an island just offshore called 'Ilha de Cabanas'. A short boat trip takes you across the blue lagoon and onto the white sandy beach.

If you're looking for the Portugal golfing experience there's no better place to stay then Cabanas. With several premiere golf courses to choose from(at least one for each day of the week), makes Cabanas the prime spot for golfing enthusiasts of all abilities.

If you're looking for a more relaxed and authentic experience this sleepy little corner of the Algarve could be the placed for you.

Ria Formosa: There are lots of boat trips available to explore the lagoons and sandbanks of the area.
Around Conceição you can see the old round houses nowadays used to keep animal feed in. Also in Cumeada and Monte da Estrada (Estorninhos) there are examples of the windmills that once used to dot the Algarve countryside.

Capela Nossa Senhora do Mar in Cabanas: This is a modern church that was only inaugurated on 24th April 1994.

Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Concei??o: Originates from the 16th century but had further work during the 18th.

Hermitage of Nossa Senhora do Livramento: About 3km from Luz de tavira - early 18th century

Igreja Matriz de Santa Luzia: This is a modern church in Santa Luzia - (mid 20th century) built on the site of a 16th century hermitage.

Historical remains in the Cabanas area

Visit the fort of São João da Barra, at the entrance to the harbour (at the end of the waterfront road), built to a polygonal design in the 17th century. It is now privately owned.

Visit the Fortaleza de Cacela Velha - a little further to the east of Cabanas

Torre de Aires (or Ares) in Luz - of medieval or Arab origins, formed part of the
defences of this stretch of coast.
