This is a brand new well equipped, luxurious fully air-conditioned penthouse apartment in the Royal Cabanas Golf Development in Conceicao, Cabanas.
It has two good sized bedrooms and open plan lounge/dining area with a double bed settee.
For sun worshippers you can enjoy the sun in the morning from one balcony and in the afternoon on the other balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area. You also have the spacious roof-terrace which enjoys the sun all day.
The apartment is ideally situated within walking distance of the beautiful fishing village of Cabanas with good restaurants, cafe bars, supermarkets, bank/cashpoints, shops, butchers and bakers. A two minute taxi-boat ride takes you to the stunning blue flag Cabanas beach, with glorious 3km of white sand, beach bar & cafe, water sports, sun beds, parasols, showers & toilets.
The border of Spain is only a 20 minute drive away. The village has a regular train service providing access to the rest of the Algarve and a regular bus service.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

Cabanas de Tavira / Conceicao de Tavira area
The apartment is just 35 minutes from Faro Airport. The apartment is a 15 - 20 minute stroll from Cabanas waterfront. The glorious white sandy beach at Cabanas is accessed by a two minute taxi-boat ride, which transports passengers all day across the estuary of the Rio Formosa, to the other side of the sand bank. A Blue Flag beach, Cabanas has clear waters, blue lagoons and clean golden sands, and never seems to get too crowded. The beach at Cabanas is well served by facilities including a café, showers, and plenty of sunbeds, with an 18th century fort standing guard on the bank. The beach front village at Cabanas contains a good choice of shops and restaurants.
Cabanas is a small fishing village with plenty of character that has developed into a quiet beach resort on the relatively unspoilt eastern part of the Algarve. A typical Algarvian resort, Cabanas is situated right next to the Rio Formosa National Park, surrounded by lovely scenery, and is ideally placed to enjoy the fantastic beaches and extensive golfing facilities of the eastern part of the Algarve.
Cabanas exudes a peaceful charm, and offers a relaxing base for a quiet holiday. Golf lovers will be spoilt for choice whilst holidaying in Cabanas, with 14 championship courses within a half-hour drive, and visitors can also enjoy fishing, tennis, cycling and horse-back riding. The nearest town to Cabanas is Tavira, just 4km away, and regarded as one of the prettiest in the Algarve. Dating back to 2000 B.C, Tavira is of huge historical interest, full of beautiful churches, a restored Roman bridge and plenty of riverside bars and cafes.
How to get there
Most budget airlines fly to Faro which is only 30 minutes by road.
About a 5 minute walk from the apartment is Conceicao Railway Station. This railway line covers the length of the Algarve from Vila Real De Santo Antonio to Lagos.
Airport transfers can be arranged using a reliable local company that has a seven seater. The cost is approximately 40 Euros each-way.
There are also plenty of car rental companies at the airport or you could arrange to hire one for a few days locally at Cabanas.
