Blue Waters Apartment is located less than 900 metres from the lovely fishing village of Cabanas de Tavira, a typical Portuguese village. The apartment and area is quiet and peaceful all year round, yet there are all amenities needed within short walking distances, including market, shops and excellent restaurants.
The shared pool, has a small children's pool perfect for small children. The apartment is on the ground floor and benefits from a nice shared garden with tables, chairs and longe chairs to enable one to relax, suntan and enjoy al fresco dining.
There is one double one with a large 180*200m bed, and the other bedroom has 3 single bunk beds and one double bed, so it is ideal for families or friends to share.

The Algarve / East Algarve region
Tavira is located in the Eastern portion of the Algarve, where the sandy, flat beaches sit upon islands and sandbars. In the centre of this peaceful area, the port town of Tavira displays Roman relics in its river crossings, numerous churches over 200 years old and exceptional tile work from the same historical period. The town is known for fresh seafood dining, serving a variety of freshly caught and grilled fish at the many outdoor dockside cafes.

Tavira offers wonderful interpretations of Portuguese cuisine, rare in these parts. At fine Tavira and general Algarvian restaurants, cooks prepare delicacies that make the most of the local catch, such as smoked swordfish or shrimp appetizers, tempting fish shoups and entrees featureing freshly caught fish.
Cabanas de Tavira / Conceicao de Tavira area
Cabanas de Tavira is Portuguese for Tavira's huts. It is a former fishing village on the East Southern coast of the Algarve, Portugal. Cabanas de Tavira has become a popular tourist destination in the summer because of its beautiful beach, Praia de Cabanas, located on an island just offshore (Ilha de Canabas), which belongs to Ria Formosa Natural Park. The town is a long line of low rise shops, bars and cafes facing the Ria Formosa. Moored fishing boats line the seafront.
Cabanas de Tavira is also only a 20 minute drive from the Spanish border and you can drive across the magnificent suspension bridge across the River Guadiana to view a traditional part of Spain where the Spanish come for their holidays.
Some of the best blue flag beaches on the Algarve are near Tavira. Calm, gentle and endless sandy beaches are here, perfect for families. The coastline is peaceful and sunny. A true invitation for some fun moments in the warm salty waters and ideal for that perfect sun tan.

A number of budget companies fly directly to Faro Airport which is less than 40 minutesd away (bmibaby, easyjet, Ryanair, Brussels Airlines, etc)
The Airport of Huelva in Spain is approx. 1 hour away (86km)
Sevilha Airport is approx. 170Km or around 2 hours.
