About the home

The apartments are situated 200m from the beach. A private Hotel boat runs from early morning to late afternoon shuttling hotel / apartment guests to the beach. One apartment is on the second floor and the second apartment is on the top floor. . The upstairs apartment has one double bedroom with a terrace and 2 red leather double sofa beds in the sitting room 2 Flat screen tv with all freesat channels. It's very comfortable for 2 people, adequate for 4 and can take 6 at a push. Views are spectacular.

The lower apartment has one double bedroom with terraces and a double bed in an alcove. the alcove is separated from the rst of the apartment with haevy curtains Again very comfortable for a couple with 2 children.

The complex has 2 outdoor swimming pools and one indoor pool in the health centre. There are two Tennis courts and access to boats bicycles etc. There is a an excellent kids club which runs from April to October. There is also a climbing wall for the adventurous.There is some building still going on in the Complex but is relatively unobtrusive.

The apartment is decorated to a very high standard. Beds are of a very high quality. There is a dining room with 6 chairs leading on to the Balcony with good quality outdoor furniture.
There is a full Kitchen with all the essentials - Full sized fridge / freezer, oven, hob Dishwasher, washing machine / drier.
The bathroom has both shower and bath and a bidet. Original paintings on the wall, Red leather corner unit sofa. Unusual lighting and Samsung flat screen Tv with satellite channels complete the sitting room.
There is a large balcony off the sitting room and a smaller one of the main bedroom. Apartment is fully air-conditioned.
There is a little Alcove that tidily houses 2 single beds - It is separeted by heavy curtains from the rest of the apartment. Once again good quality mattresses have been used.

Further details outdoors:
Both apartments are located a stone's throw from the beach. The hotel operates a shuttle boat during the mid and high season to take guests on the 60 second ride to the beautiful beach on the Ria Formosa a little sand island the runs parallel to the coastline. This is a beautiful, unspoilt quiet sandy beach completely different to anything in the Western Algarve.

Our property is managed locally by a lovely English Lady - Chris. She is most helpful and will meet you with your key. They will get you settled in your apartment - show you how to operate aircon TV etc. She can also organise Airport transfers from Faro.

Conditions

Booking Deposit of 25% required. Balance to be paid where possible 8 weeks prior to arrival.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

The Algarve is well known for its golf courses and also for the many attractive fishing villages - and hence, of course, for the seafood, which is delicious.

The Atlantic location means although very hot in June, July and August, the heat is not overpowering. The climate remains warm in Spring and Autumn, and over winter you get warm days, but the nights are noticeably cooler.

The Cabanas de Tavira / Golden Club area

Cabanas is completely unspoilt, quiet and wonderful.There are a number of good restaurants in Cabanas. A very unassuming one with good food, hidden on a little back street is "Ideal".

There are 2 lively bars in the village and a number of smaller local cafe bars.

Tavira is 4 Km away and is a wonderfully quiet town full of culture, outdoor music and plays in the summer - s real gem. Try eating in "Il Pateo" or "Aquasol"

The easiest way to get to Cabanas is by flying to Faro. Most international airlines fly here. At peak times of year the smart thing to do can be to fly to Sevilla in Spain.

Flights tend to me much cheaper and are less subject to school holidays. There is the added benefit of cheaper car hire.

“Excellent Apartment” I rented this apartment with my husband and two young children (8&3years). It was ideal, everything that we needed and felt very much relaxed and at home. The apartment was clean and modern, both air con and heating which is great for a late season booking. The complex was quite which suited us. The use of all the amenities at the Golden Clube was a bonus for the children as they had a great time. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the boardwalk and restaurants. If Cabanas is your destination you will find it hard to get an apartment and amenities to match. Thanks Michelle.
