The apartment has a large terrace with views across the old village and down to the water and is in a superb situation for a romantic couples holiday. It is perfectly situated for restaurants, bars and shops and close to the local fresh fish and vegetable market. It is within convenient reach of bus and train services to the rest of the Algarve and Spain. No car is required unless you wish to explore a little further!
The apartment building is on the waterfront next to the spectacular Ria Formosa beach which is 6kms long with white sands and the warmest water in Portugal. The island beaches are accessed by small ferry boats (average round trip 1.30 euros)
There are 5 quality golf courses close by. Benamor is 1km from the apartment. Car and bicycle hire is available in the village and for those who like painting, birdwatching or photography, the Ria Formosa offers wonderful opportunities. There are many water taxis and small boat trips.

Cabanas de Tavira area
Cabanas is a lovely old fishing village with a superb sea beach and spectacular views. There are many restaurants and bars and all facilities are available in the village.
There are excellent bus and train services if you wish to explore a little further and taxis are inexpensive.

Further details indoors: The apartment is delightful and is furnished with a very comfortable double bed, bedside cupboard, marble table and chairs and has a pretty and modern kitchen area complete with hob, cooker hood, electric kettle, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment ,vacuum cleaner, fire extinguisher and all utensils. Iron and ironing board are provided.
The bathroom is spacious and has a bath with overhead shower, hand basin, wc and bidet. There is a dining area with CD/radio, TV and sliding doors to the large terrace.
Towels and linen are provided. We ask guests not to remove the bathroom towels as we do provide you with beach towels and beach mats.
Further details outdoors: The large terrace, which has views over the old village and down to the water is equipped with a gas BBQ, cushioned sunloungers, table and chairs and a sun umbrella.
In the village there are many excellent restaurants and bars which are not expensive. There are shops,supermarkets, the fresh fish and vegetable market daily, banks, post office and bakeries.

Conditions
The changeover day is Saturday only. Departure time is 10.00hrs and arrival time is 16.00hrs. This may be flexible depending on bookings and by agreement. The accommodation is suitable for 2 adults only and we regret no children or pets. The property is not suitable for persons with restricted mobility. No smoking except on the Balcony.
Prices for the property are in Euros. Bookings more than 8 weeks prior to arrival, 30% required at time of booking, remainder 8 weeks before arrival. Bookings less than 8 weeks prior to arrival, 100% payable at time of booking. We would suggest that clients cover the risk of cancellation in their own holiday insurance. In the case of cancellation, the 30% deposit is not refundable, the remaining 70% would depend on any monies recouped with another booking.
