This spacious and meticulously finished 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the beach end of the Ria Formosa village of Cabanas. The location boasts fantastic frontline Ria and Sea views although close to all the amenities like fabulous restaurants which serve up local delights like Gambas grehaldos (griiled prawns) and Robalo (sea bass) all freshly caught of course and all can be washed down with a drop of Alentejan wine.There are plenty of local watering holes also where a bottle of beer can cost less than a trip to the beach (1 Euro)

The Algarve / East Algarve region

Cabanas is a small fishing village situated 5 kilometers from the larger town of Tavira. Central to the village is an amazing natural lagoon where you can take a short boat crossing to one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, where the golden sands seem to go on forever.

Cabanas village offers an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and typical Portuguese cafes, most of which run along the promenade and have fantastic lagoon and sea views.

Shopping facilities include two supermarkets, gift shops and a daily market where you can buy the best fresh produce.

Cabanas de Tavira / Aldeia Formosa area

Cabanas is situated in the Ria Formosa, a protected nature reserve and it is a great location for cycling, fishing, swimming, walking and bird watching (bicycles and fishing equipment are available for hire in the village).

East of the village, towards the Spanish border, lie the popular resorts Manta Rota and Monte Gordo. Both offer plenty to see and do and have excellent beaches. West of Cabanas village is the well-known town, Tavira with its ancient architecture, riverside shops and restaurants. (Car hire is available in Cabanas village).

Gated entrance leads into a courtyard and stairway to apartment door which in turn leads into a hallway. Located of the hallway are a fully fitted kitchen and dining area a large living area which leads onto a private terrace which is ideal for relaxing after a long day at the beach there is also a bathroom located on the ground floor. The second floor consists of 2 large en-suite bedrooms (one twin/one double) which also lead out on to a large terrace which boasts stunning views over the Ria Formosa and Atlantic.
