Cabanas beach reached by a 2 min boat ride has 3km of golden sands. Onsite facilities include use of 4 communal pools, a cafe/restaurant/bar and toddler's play area. Benamor Golf Course is 1km with Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima golf courses 4 km. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve with regular train and bus services running along the coast.
The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for visiting sites of historical interest such as Estoi (palace), Milreu (Roman ruins) and Castro Marim (Nature Reserve). The lovely old Town of Tavira, also known as "the little Venice of Portugal" is 4 km and Spain is just 20 mins away. Ideal for young families and golfers.

The Algarve / East Algarve region
Tavira, the nearest town is 4km by car is a historical town with its Moorish castle, riverside shops and restaurants. Further east you are within 20 minutes from the Spanish border and Ayamonte. Bus stop 200m. Train station 1km in Conceicao local bus stops there. Easy access by train to the Spanish border, Faro, Lisbon and beyond.The Zoomarine and Waterparks are 35 mins from the apartment.
Benamor golf course is 1Km away,Quintas da Ria and Cima 4 Km and Castro Marim 15 km. The Algarve has 18 other courses. Benamor is set in groves of trees on the lower slopes of the hills with striking mountain and sea views. The course offers a gentle, peaceful and fairly undemanding round. Par: 71 Length: 6017 yards.
Quinta da Ria offers spectacular views of the mountains and coast. Built on flattish terrain with greens that are slightly undulating and well guarded by bunkers and man-made lakes. Par: 72 Length: 6700 yards.
Quinta da Cima is situated across the road from Quinta da Ria. The 2 courses offer very different challenges. It is longer & tougher than its neighbour. Par: 72 Length: 6950 yards.
Castro Marim is set in rolling terrain against a hilly backdrop. There are impressive views of the nearby River Guadiana and the Atlantic Ocean. Accurate play and astute club selection is essential. Par: 72 Length: 6010 yards.

Cabanas de Tavira / Quinta Da Gomeira area
The apartment is a 3 min stroll from the waterfront where a range of small boats offer a 2 minute boat ride to to what is reckoned to be the most beautiful stretch of beach found in this part of the Algarve. Boats costs 1 euro return per person & run throughout the day. The beach has its own cafe bar, changing facilities & toilets. Parasol, sunbed, jet-ski & paddle boat hire are all available.
The apartment has access to 4 shared swimming pools each of which is approx. 12m x 4m in size. Access is by key card provided. On site there is an equipped and fenced children's playground and a very friendly cafe/bar that serves typically Portuguese food. A skate board park and tennis courts are within 2 minutes.
How to get there
Cabanas da Tavira is located a 30 min drive from Faro Airport. There are regular bus and train services to Cabanas from Faro.Car hire is offered from various providers at the airport. Seville airport is 90 mins drive. We can arrange airport to apartment transfers. Please enquire for details.

Bedlinen and towels are provided.Towels changed weekly. Guests are asked to provide own towels for beach and pool.Please check arrangements for long lets.

20% non refundable deposit is required to confirm booking with balance payable 8 weeks before the arrival date. Payment to be made by bank transfer. Please check cost and availability of flights before making a booking. We recommend that guests have adequate travel insurance including the risk of cancellation in their own policies. A breakage deposit of £100 stg /150 euros is payable with final payment and will be refunded 2 weeks after departure subject to inspection.
