Cottage | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 6
This is a fantastic holiday scheme and it is accessible completely in the Dairy cottage for people with disabilities. You can rent the hole scheme or individual cottages .There are also three self-catering cottages to choose from at Carrog Mill, and each one has been lovingly renovated from farm buildings to provide beautiful and luxurious accommodation. Choose from: The Dairy and Creamery, which sleep four to six people; The Corn Store, which sleeps five to seven people; and the Pigsty, which sleeps just two.
The Dairy and Creamery are ideal for less mobile guests as they are both on one level, and rather spacious and we have tastefully added many adaptations to these properties to make them accessible but still looking very nice. We have equipment to assist you should you wish to hire it including a rise and fall bed and hoist.
The Dairy and Creamery are adjoining and can be used together to form larger holiday accommodation if required. The accommodation comprises three double bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms, a separate bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, dining room, plus a large and spacious living room. The Denbighshire region
beautiful scenery, wildlife and history of this stunning area in North East Wales
The Dee Valley Way and The North Berwyn Way links the two towns of Corwen and Llangollen. The routes are 15 miles/ 24km in total but if you prefer to pace yourself it can be walked in separate sections.
Carrog is a village in Denbighshire, Wales. Formerly referred to as Llansanffraid-Glyn Dyfrdwy, as it lies within the parish of Llansanffraid Glyndyfrdwy, it takes its modern name from the Great Western Railway station on the opposite bank of the River Dee, which in turn took its name (possibly to avoid confusion with the adjacent Glyn Dyfrdwy station and that in Llansanffraid Glan Conwy) from the Carrog estate on that bank.
Carrog Station is now part of the Llangollen Railway and is currently one end of the line, until the extension to Bonwm is opened. One notable resident is Peredur Lynch who graduated from Bangor University to become a literary historian. Carrog has one primary school, Ysgol Carrog which is over 100 years old.
