"gorgeous cottage, perfect location"
A fantastic stay at a delightfully snug cottage. Log burning stove to curl up in front of each night, luxurious bedroom with a four poster bed with a convenient and spacious en-suite with a deep bath to soak your aching muscles in after one of the many local walks available. Surrounded by gorgeous villages, each with their own pub, this cottage is perfect for couples young and old to get away from everyday stresses, switch off and relax in some of the countries finest scenery and countryside. Rolling hills and deep valleys, with local towns with plenty to see, do, eat and drink all within a short drive away.
I would highly recommend this cottage, not only for it's location, but it's size, amenities, cleanliness and overall value...not to mention a very helpful owner who went above and beyond the standard service i.e. went and collected a bouquet of flowers on my behalf to have ready and waiting on our arrival.
Really pleased you had a lovely time and glad you managed to explore. It was very nice to meet you both and hope to see you again in Derbyshire in the future.

"Cosy barn conversion with an impressive bedroom"
We stayed at the old farrowings, one of three barn conversions at Biggin Grange. The accommodation was just as we hoped it would be, warm and cosy with a lovely log burner in the living area. The kitchen provided all the essentials needed but the surprise was the huge bedroom, with exposed beams, very nice. The property has lovely views and a private patio area. We will definitely book again in the Spring.
Thanks very much for the review. Hope to see you back in Derbyshire in the Spring to enjoy the lovely views!

"Don't tell everybody! (This is a hidden treasure)"
We booked this for a last-minute romantic escape, and stumbled across a real gem. All three properties on the farm have been converted to a very high standard. If you are a couple who are looking for a quiet and peaceful escape away from home, you have found the right place. If you want help or information you can always ask for it, if not you are given complete privacy. There is lots of info to peruse if you should want it. We took bikes, walking and running gear with us - but only managed the walk! If the gorgeous local scenary is not for you, there are lots of things a short drive away (and there's a torch in the kitchen if you decide to go to the local pub after dark!). The log burning stove was great to sit in front of with a glass of wine, after a leisurely walk and a cracking pub meal. If you are slipper wearer, you might want to take them with you in the colder months as the lovely flagstone floor in the living area is a little chilly underfoot :)
On a practical note, there is everything you might need: music system with dock, every kitchen utensil you could need, books, board games etc.
Beautiful place that we can't wait to visit again at any time of year.
Thanks so much for your review. I am really pleased you both enjoyed your stay and hope you can find a few spare days to return again!
