Badger Cottage is a pretty 18 Century cottage with latticed mullioned windows and is Grade 2 listed. It is located in the heart of Cressbrook, a conservation villiage, and has breathtaking stunning views along Monsal Dale. It is fully equipped to a high standard and has sunny gardens and a walled patio with garden furniture and BBQ. It is romantic, warm and cosy and has a logburner. Superbly placed for walking and for exploring the abundance of Peak District attractions and activities. Chatsworth House, Buxton and Bakewell are just a few mins drive away. The many country pubs, tearooms and restaurants nearby specialise in fresh local dishes. Badgers abound here and you may well spot one!

It is a uniquely self sufficient community which has preserved and protected all aspects of its rural heritage.It is very well placed for visits tot he abundance of peak district attractions The local villages surrounding Tideswell are strongly individual and within 2 miles of the cottage you can visit Litton with a group of cottages around the stocks on the village green and the village of Cressbrook perched precariously on the hillside above Water-Cum- Jolly, Millers Dale and the River Wye.

There are three bedrooms, two are double and one has sturdy full size bunk beds. The master bedroom has a double bed with pretty drapes and TV, ideal to relax in after a busy day. * For little ones there is a high chair and travel cot, plus a range of children's books and videos.. * All rooms have stunning rural views. and are tastefully furnished with good quality furniture and antiques * The cottage is centrally heated
Further details outdoors: To the front is a sunny terraced garden with breathtaking views along the dale, the stepped path may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Car Parking - on street parking outside the cottage or in the free village car park about 50 yards away.
A public footpath runs near to the cottage - superb walks from the doorstep

Spotted a Badger- the first I have ever seen and I am 69 years old - a perfect end to a perfect break!
Great walks from the doorstep - the Monsal Trail is just a few minutes away. My dog loved swimming in Water cum Jolly at the end of a walk .
