The Buxton / Longnor area
Longnor, set on the Staffordshire moorlands between the River Dove and the Rive r Manifold, is a great centre for enjoying this area. The amenities in Longnor include shops, a post office, tearoom and craft centre. More amenities can be found in the market towns of Buxton and Bakewell. Within easy reach are Alton Towers, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, as well as the walking and cycling trails of the National Park.
