The cottage has been restored sympathetically to a high standard and features a well equipped and fitted kitchen with a dining area. The sitting room is a cosy, comfortable room with a wood burner, making it a warm and relaxing space in which to unwind. There are two tranquil double bedrooms and a bright modern bathroom completes the accommodation. Outside the house has a lawned garden with a patio area and garden furniture. The local amenities are just a minute’s walk away, and with so many activities and attractions nearby, this cottage is a great base for exploring the area.

The Buxton / Longnor area
The delightful village of Longnor is situated in the Staffordshire Moorlands and makes an excellent centre for touring. It has the River Manifold to the West and the River Dove to the East. Longnor has plenty of amenities with a variety of shops, a post office, tea room and a fabulous craft centre. The foundations of the church are thought to date back 800 years and at the centre of the village is a cobbled market square and old market hall, with the tariff of old charges still on a board outside the hall. Edge Top is an old pack horse route between Flash and Longnor and it has been covered with tarmac, making it pleasant for both walkers and cyclists. The town of Buxton is just one of the many attractions close by.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
