About the home

The villa is situated in a beautiful zone of the Tuscany, surrounded by olive grove hills and green thick woods of pine trees; near to the most important art city of Italy and to the Versilia coast. The position and the altitude of about 300m on the sea level, guarantee a mild and agreeable climate in every season. Situated in a panoramic position, it lies 1,5 from the town of Buti (of which 700 meter not asphalted road) in a quiet location that provides also the necessary privacy the guests need. The buildings is an old farmhouse of the XVII and XVIII century that we partially restored with a special attention for the original materials (terracotta, wood, stone…) and furnished with ancient furniture of the Tuscany tradition. Outside also available a private swimming pool. To cook also at disposition a barbecue. In the town of Buti there are all the necessary shops and different restaurants/pizzeria/bars.

It is an ideally position to visit the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, for a day at the beach (30 Kms from the villa) or in the mountains (the mountain of Abetone 1400-1900 meters high is 80 Kms far away, in the winter it is also possible to ski there). Nearest golf clubs: Cosmopolitan golf (18 holes situated near Pisa), Tirrenia Golf Club (9 holes situated near Pisa), Fontevivo golf club (9 holes situated near Pisa), Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 hole, situated near Florence), Poggio de' Medici golf (18 hole, situated near Florence), Le Pavoniere golf (18 hole, situated near Prato).

The Tuscany / Pisa Province region

There are miles and miles of pathways for trekking, mountain biking, skiing, but also for absolute rest. The climate in Tuscany is very mild. The most beautiful season is May, September and October. So the main season to travel in Tuscany is spring, summer and autumn, especially because the landscape at that time of the year is very beautiful. Usually the summers in Tuscany are warm and without rain.
